Shilpa Shetty gives a bhangra twist to her cardio workout; gives tips for burning more calories in less time

Actor Shilpa Shetty is a major fitness inspiration to many. On Monday, she shared a motivational workout video in which gave followers an interesting tip to make their workout fun. In the video, Shilpa is seen doing side-to-side shuffle while grooving to the Bollywood track ‘Saddi Galli Aaja’ while adding Bhangra to her cardio routine.

Sharing the video, Shilpa wrote, "A different kind of #MondayMotivation today: • 6" Platform Side-To-Side Shuffle •Cardio Is Not Boring, You Need To Be Exploring. An extreme lower-body-focussed high intensity Interval Training Drill, which conditions the heart & lungs as well. Burn more calories in less time. Making it fun by adding Bhangra Arms; and yes, adding ‘arms’ will burn more calories.”

“Try performing 3 to 4 rounds of 1 minute each. Rest for 1 minute after every round. Increasing the platform height will increase the intensity. If you are a beginner, start with 30 seconds per round on a 4" or 6" platform. Happy Cardioing, The SSK Way,” she added.


On the work front, Shilpa Shetty will soon be making her Bollywood comeback with the film Hungama 2. The Priyadarshan directorial will be released on Disney + Hotstar in July.
