Recently, Kriti Kharbanda let on that the sequel to her breakthrough film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is on the anvil—this was a film with a seemingly complete story, given the title! “For me, that film changed my life and put me on the map!” says Kriti. “I got Housefull 4 because of Shaadi…, because when it released, Sajid (Nadiadwala)-sir told me that we will work together. Having said that, we have almost locked the script of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana 2, and that is one film I am really looking forward to doing. The first film was something on which I was never tired of working even 20 hours a day, and it trained me for multi-star films like Housefull 4 or Pagalpanti, where it is not easy to feel secure initially when other heroines are there.” Kriti, however, does not reveal whether the original plot will continue with a twist or she is just part of a similar franchise, like Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the …Dulhania series. On the other hand, writer-director Anees Bazmee reveals that he will do a thriller “Very soon” after so many laugh-riots. “I met Ajay Devgn, who is special to me as he was the hero of my first three films,” he said. “And he asked me why we could not make the next part of Deewangee (2002), in which his negative character was shown alive in the end. So I am thinking of a plot where he will be 25 years older, much more evil, dangerous and menacing. The moment I get it, we will be on!” he smiles. His 2005 No Entry’s sequel, he has said, is ready but there are some technical issues coming in the way (We can guess at them, though!). Speaking of its star Anil Kapoor, he too is keen that a Mr. India sequel happens soon. But the most upset is Arshad Warsi, who says wryly that obstacles do keep coming in the way of making the third Munna Bhai film. “It’s a funny thing. If you ask Raju (Rajkumar Hirani), he tells me it is ‘100 percent happening!’ He has sounded off many ideas, all of which sound great to me. But then sometimes the second half is not working, or there is some timing problem, or many other things coming in the way!” There are also diverse news about what is happening to Krrish 4 and Krrish 5. Buzz that Sanjay Gupta was to direct the former was negated by official sources. Rakesh Roshan is now back after his illness and is said to be eager to go into action. We would definitely like to watch Jadoo in at least one of them, so will the Roshans please oblige? A surefire prospect for a sequel is the forthcoming Pagalpanti, while there is strong buzz from Yash Raj Films that War will be made into a franchise with Hrithik Roshan again. And speaking of YRF, buzz around another Dhoom sequel refuses to die down. We have heard that Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and even Akshay Kumar will play the new and bigger antagonist (Shah Rukh is the most frequent name), but YRF has denied all speculation. We dare say that with the scenario and audiences being what they are, and with the recent response to films like Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal and Housefull 4, sequels to comic franchises seem to be surefire. But with Baaghi 3, Commando 3, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Dostana 2, Aaj Kal and English Medium also coming up, we guess that even in other genres, the more familiar the merrier!

Bigg Boss announces the nomination task BB PCO wherein after equal intervals Bigg Boss will have two contestants come in dual PCO booth placed in the garden area. The two have to talk to each other and convince the other to put the phone down. The one who disconnects the call will get nominated. However, if both the contestants fail to put the phone down, both will be nominated. Shefali is selected as the 'sanchalak' of the task and has to issue a bill that reads- 'safe or nominated'. The first pair to enter the booth was Paras and Rashami. Rashami tells Paras to not nominate her as she hated every minute of being out of the house and wants to be safe at least this week. After the task, Bigg Boss asked all the contestants to assemble in the living area and tells them that once again they did not take the task seriously and most of them are still not following the rules. Meanwhile, the contestants nominated for eviction are Siddharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, Paras Chhabra, Mahira Sharma, Asim Riaz, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Himanshi Khurana, Vishal, and Arhaan Khan. Rani reveals, “There are 2 very distinct things that come to my mind when I think of Veer Zaara. First, of course, I will be working with the legendary Yash Chopra. Just to shoot with him was an experience by itself because when you shoot with a master like him you realize how great he is. His greatness was that he would never see the monitor! He was always behind the cameraman watching us and okaying the shots which was very new for me because the directors who I had worked with, used to be just very close to the monitor because that became the new age thing to do.” She adds, “But when I shot with Yash uncle, I realized that how they (such iconic filmmakers) must be actually taking out work from actors because they were constantly looking at us standing next to the camera, calling for the shots. That was something really, incredibly special. He was the only director who wanted to feed us all the time to make sure we were happy and laughing!” Rani had teamed up again with Shah Rukh Khan in Veer Zaara. They had previously given us some timeless classic romantic films. However, this time they were not a couple romancing on-screen. She says, “The other thing that I remember was seeing Shah Rukh in the old avatar which was really awkward for both of us. Before this, I had always romanced him and in this film, he had to look at me with the imagery of a daughter and I had to look at him as a father figure, which was a bit tough. Romancing Shah Rukh is much easier. So, I think that camaraderie that we had made us burst out laughing a lot of times much to the annoyance of Adi and Yash Uncle because they would be like you got to concentrate on the shot and Shah Rukh and me would start our giggle fit and it would never stop. These are the 2 main things I remember and of course, my outdoor with Yash uncle in Punjab. Punjab being his place, where he was born and brought up, the shooting experience was just incredible.” For Rani Veer Zaara was an epic food fest! “There used to chat on the sets like everyday, there was aloo paratha and white makhan - it was a food fest. Veer-Zaara for me I just remember it as a food fest throughout,” she signs off.

He instinctively knows which scripts to take up and once he is in a project he is fully committed.” Trade expert Amod Mehra feels there is something special about Ayushmann that draws audiences to his films. “In the past we had dependable actors such as Sanjeev Kumar and Amol Palekar. But none like Ayushmann Khurrana, as he is the perfect hero. He has the looks as well as can act. He also is the first actor to have carried the entire film on his own shoulders with back to back seven hits in a row.” Trade analyst Girish Johar feels Ayushmann’s time begins now. “Ayushmann is poised to have seven back-to-back hits with Bala. This is something very unique and interesting. No doubt Ayushmann has earned this with lot of hard work, passion and great deal of thoughts. He has taken the path which very few actors dare.” 
Johar feels Ayushmann’s audacity in choosing his scripts is what sets him apart. “He was and still is ...always on a look-out to break the stereotypes. His recipe is simple. Pick up a taboo subject. Add them with a fine dosage of humour. Intelligence and quirk. Also he has smartly ensured that the films he does are not only neat, clean but are also being watched by families with a smile. Families are able to watch films on unexplored topics which are no longer brushed under carpets, make them accessible and enjoyable as well. Also, Ayushmann has built a brand by being part of stories at the grass root level with a strong desi connect, making them fully relatable with the audiences. This formula has worked big time for him and has strong legs at the box office as well. He has established himself as a complete entertainer and a solid actor.” The actor who has changed the destiny of the Hindi film hero hasn’t set modest goals for himself. Says Ayushmann, “The one thing that I am very sure about is, in every film, I only want to do a subject that has never been done before.” A tall order. But then who said being game-changer is easy?
As announced earlier, Parineeti Chopra was all set to be a part of Bhuj: The Pride Of India starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, and Pranitha. Now, with a schedule this hectic, Parineeti had to, unfortunately, step back from the project. The actress will not be able to take the dates out for the film. The Da-Bangg gang line-up comprised of actors Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Daisy Shah, Aayush Sharma, and singers Guru Randhawa and Kamaal Khan who performed at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena as a part of the much-awaited Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded concert that's been around the world. 
At the Arena, the aura was surreal and electric as fireworks, pyrotechnics, raining confetti charged with the buzz of the crowd, stentorian music, dazzling lights with the multitalented stars flaring up the stage with their delightful acts. Right from his elementary performance, Salman made the fans go fanatical. He held the hearts of his fans captive with his dynamic performance grooving to his hits from movies like Dabangg, Bharat, and Tiger Zinda Hai as well as popular songs from his earlier films like Maine Pyar Kiya, and more. 
The event kickstarted with the act by UAE teenage star Rashed Belhasa, aka Moneykicks' debut song We Living Life sung by S1 to prepare for the power-packed succeeding acts. The performance was soon taken over by Maniesh Paul - the host of the evening with his unique Da-Bangg hip-hop number through which he introduced the entire cast of the show. Aayush Sharma was the first to make an entry dancing on the beats from his movie LoveYatri - 'Chogada', 'Dholida' and more.

Last night, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan enjoyed the team dinner. They posed for a photo as this marked the reunion for the 3 Idiots stars. Joining them was Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao among other team members. This past weekend, some photos were leaked from the sets of the film which revealed their looks. Aamir Khan was seen dressed in a checkered shirt and grey trousers. He is playing a turban-clad man and sporting a long beard. Kareena was dressed in pink ethnic wear and minimal makeup. The team will be shooting in Chandigarh and Amritsar.

In a recent interview, the actor was quizzed about having kept himself away from politics. Stating that he respected everyone's political views, Riteish said he would rather leave politics to his brothers and was happy being an actor. He further stated that political power had no special appeal to him since he has been familiar to it all his life. Acting, he says, is his power! The actor was last seen in Housefull 4, alongside Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol. It didn't garner great reviews from critics, but Riteish is happy with how it managed to impress the audience and also rake in good money. Shah Rukh, whose parents succumbed to cancer years ago, was deeply moved by Tahira's deliverance. "I lost both my parents to cancer. I do not like to show off my problems but Tahira made me realise that it is okay to share. I feel it is necessary to remove the taboo that we need to hide our problems. Instead, come together with your family and figure out a solution," he said. Tahira was detected with Ductal carcinoma in situ in her right breast in September last year. What must have proved to be a gruelling battle could not bog her down. Throughout the recovery, she kept sharing her progress and pictures on social media, and has inspired thousands in the progress. As Tahira stood on the Ted Talks stage, she said it was a privilege to be there and share her experience. "The only reason of coming out is to give the message that early breast cancer detection should be on top of everyone's minds. Nobody should ignore the symptoms. The idea is not to instil fear but to encourage people to be mindful. This alone can change the mortality rate in India and the world," she added.
