Aryan Khan moves the court to release his passport
Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on the charges of being involved in a drug case. However, the star kid was given a clean chit by the court recently in the case and now owing to the same, Aryan moved the court on Thursday, requesting them to return his passport.
Aryan Khan was accused of being involved in a drug case after the NCB department conducted a raid on a Goa cruise which included some high profile names on the guest list. He was arrested and imprisoned due to the same, along with which his passport was seized due to the bail conditions. He was granted bail post 20 days of his imprisonment. However, in a charge sheet filed in May, the name of the star kid was not included. And later, Aaryan and five other accused were given a clean chit by the NCB due to insufficient evidence.
Owing to the same, Aryan Khan filed an application on Thursday with the help of his lawyers from the Desai Desai Carrimjee and Mulla firm, asking the court to return his passport, as per PTI reports. And in response to the same, the court has ordered NCB to file a reply before the next hearing which is expected to be held on July 13.

Ek Villain Returns Trailer Launch: Here’s how John Abraham responded when his chemistry with Disha Patani was compared to his and Bipasha Basu
The trailer of Ek Villain Returns was launched with much fanfare today amidst the entire cast ensemble which included John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria. As for the film, this glimpse into the world of villains showcased layered characters and power-packed action. Amidst that, it also gave us a sneak-peek into the chemistry of John – Disha and Arjun – Tara. During the trailer launch, one of the questions posed to John Abraham was the comparison between his chemistry with ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu versus his chemistry with Disha Patani.
A press conference was held after the trailer of Ek Villain Returns was unveiled, in which, John Abraham was asked about his chemistry with Disha Patani. When it was compared to his chemistry with Bipasha Basu with reference to their films like Jism, he said, “I think there are certain actors, with whom I have worked with in the past, my chemistry with them was lovely. I think with Disha it was absolutely fantastic. And you will see it in the film.” He went on to add, “Kyunki bahut kam logon ke saath aisa hota hai ki (There are very few people with whom) when you see them onscreen, you look at them and you say, ‘it’s really working. With Disha, we felt that. It was really nice and special.”
Ek Villain Returns will also feature Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria as an onscreen couple for the first time. Directed by Mohit Suri, even though it is a sequel to the Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor starrer, the plotline and characters are different from its prequel. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar, the action thriller will hit the big screens on July 29.

We recently witnessed the dark and action packed trailer of Ek Villain Returns which features shaded characters and some interesting stunt sequences. While the trailer showcases a glimpse of chemistry between John Abraham and Disha Patani as well as Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria, the film also showcases a bit about the characters they are playing. So it is quite visible that Tara plays the role of a rockstar. Interestingly, director Mohit Suri also confirmed that the actress will be singing in the film.
While speaking about the character she will play in Ek Villain Returns, Tara Sutaria described that she will be seen as a ‘rockstar’ and not just a ‘singer’. When she was asked what prep she underwent for the film, she added, “I did have some music prep but I won’t speak much about that because woh aapko baad mein pata chalega (because you will know it later).” On the other hand, director Mohit Suri confirmed that she has sung songs for the film as well. He said, “Tara is actually singing for the film also. She is a great singer. I was like wow this is double whammy.” Interestingly, Tara began her career in the entertainment industry as a singer with Disney India's Big Bada Boom.
Speaking about Ek Villain Returns, the film, directed by Mohit Suri, is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar. The film is a sequel to the 2014 thriller Ek Villain that featured Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh in the lead. While the name is associated to its prequel along with the smiley mask, this second part is a stand-alone movie featuring John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani in grey roles. It is slated to release on July 29.
Tom Hiddleston and fiancée Zawe Ashton expecting their first child; actress debuts baby bump at Mr. Malcolm’s List premiere
Loki star Tom Hiddleston and his fiancée Zawe Ashton will shortly welcome their first child together. Ashton reportedly announced her pregnancy and showed off her growing baby belly on the red carpet at the Mr. Malcolm's List premiere in New York City Wednesday night.
Ashton, who plays Julia Thistlewaite in the period drama based on the novel of the same name, stepped out at the New York premiere wearing a beige, off-the-shoulder gown. As Page Six notes, while Tom Hiddleston was not present at the premiere, Ashton was joined by co-stars Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, Theo James and Sianad Gregory and director Emma Holly Jones.
The news comes about two weeks after Hiddleston confirmed that the couple is engaged. Three months after the couple sparked engagement rumors at the 2022 BAFTA Awards when Ashton was photographed donning a diamond ring, Tom responded to a question about his engagement by telling the Los Angeles Times on June 14 that he was "I’m very happy.”
Tom, who dated Taylor Swift in 2016, previously reflected on all the public attention he receives about his love life. "A relationship in the limelight… A relationship always takes work," he told GQ in 2017. "A relationship in the limelight takes work. And it's not just the limelight. It's everything else."
Meanwhile, Ashton will next appear in the Captain Marvel sequel Marvels, which will release in February 2023, while Hiddleston is most known for playing Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Mr. Malcolm's List debuts in theaters July 1.
K-pop group EXID’s Hani dating psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong for past two years
South Korean group EXID’s Hani is reportedly dating Psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong.
As noted by Korean tabloid Soompi, on June 29 it was reported that Hani has been dating psychiatrist and entertainer Yang Jae Woong for two years. In response to the report, Hani’s agency SUBLIME released an official statement clearing the reports.
“Hello. This is SUBLIME. We are informing you of our official statement regarding our agency’s artist Hani,” the statement began. “As it was reported by the media, Hani and Yang Jae Woong are in a happy relationship. We would be grateful if you view [their relationship] warmly.”
Singer-actress Hani officially made her debut in 2012 as part of the girl group EXID, with their single ‘Whoz That Girl’. She recently starred in dramas including You Raise Me Up and XX.
Meanwhile, Yang Jae Woong has appeared on various variety programs including the Heart Signal series and Real Couple Story – The War of Roses (literal title). He also has a YouTube channel titled “Yang Bros’ Mental World” with his older brother Yang Jae Jin.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery: Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig's sequel to premiere at Toronto film festival
Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, starring Daniel Craig, is set to receive its world premiere at Toronto International Festival (TIFF), taking place from September 8 through September 18.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix’s follow-up is set to have its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, organizers confirmed on Wednesday. Netflix bringing the Knives Out 2 franchise builder to Toronto, a frequent destination for its festival movies, comes as the video streaming giant faces increased competition from rivals like Disney+ with Marvel and Star Wars offerings and HBO Max with DC and big tentpole releases.
The original Knives Out also had its world premiere at TIFF in 2019. The Agatha Christie-inspired murder mystery became a blockbuster and commercially well. Johnson, who wrote the script in addition to directing, landed an Oscar nomination in the original screenplay category. The ensemble cast for the film includes Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista.
In the sequel, Detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects. No date has been set for the premiere of the film, which has been produced for Netflix. Johnson will also direct and is producing with Ram Bergman under their T-Street banner.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be released later this year.
Kate Winslet to star in and produce HBO limited series Trust
Kate Winslet and HBO are reteaming for another project titled Trust, a limited series based on Hernan Diaz's best-selling novel.
As shared by The Hollywood Reporter, Diaz’s novel unfolds using four different voices and in four genres. The HBO project will follow a wealthy financier who reads a novel based on his life and is upset with how he and his wife are portrayed. He hires a secretary to ghostwrite a memoir in hopes of setting the record straight. She, however, becomes aware that he’s trying to rewrite history, and his wife’s place in it.
In addition to starring, Kate Winslet will also executive produce the feature alongside Diaz. Moreover, the series will be the third collaboration between Winslet and HBO. The previous two, last year’s Mare of Easttown and the 2011 miniseries Mildred Pierce, earned Winslet a pair of Emmys for best lead actress in a limited series.
Kate Winslet is also known for her seven Oscar nominations, including those for films like Titanic, Iris, and Little Children. She won the Oscar for best actress for her work in the film The Reader in 2009.

Cameron Diaz announces comeback with Jamie Foxx in Netflix action-comedy film
Cameron Diaz will be back in action quite literally! Years after having declared that she would be retiring from acting following a decades-long career, the Charlie’s Angels star is ready to make a comeback starring in a Netflix film alongside Jamie Foxx.
As shared by The Hollywood Reporter, the announcement was made via Foxx’s social media, where he posted audio of him, Diaz and NFL star Tom Brady talking. “I was talking to Jamie, and he said you needed a few tips on how to unretire. And I am relatively successful at unretiring,” Brady is heard saying. On her Instagram Story, Diaz posted a confirmation of the news with the caption, “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!! I’m so excited; it’s going to be a fun!”

The project brings Diaz and Foxx back together after their collaborations on the 2014 Annie remake and the 1999 sports drama Any Given Sunday, which served as Diaz’s last acting role before “retiring.” The last time Cameron appeared onscreen was in 2014, during which time she premiered three movies, The Other Woman with Leslie Man, Sex Tape with Jason Segel, and a remake of Annie.
Beau Bauman will produce for Good One Productions, along with Gordon for his Exhibit A banner. The film is being directed by Seth Gordon from a screenplay that he co-wrote with Brendan O’Brien. Foxx, Datari Turner, O’Brien and Mark McNair will executive produce. Details of the plot are being kept under wraps. Foxx predicts that production will start later this year. After starring in her last onscreen role, Diaz first talked about her retirement in 2018 and, in subsequent interviews, has explained the reason behind her retiring.
“When you’re making a movie, it’s a perfect excuse. They own you,” Diaz said. “You’re there for 12 hours a day. For months on end, you have no time for anything else. I realized I handed off parts of my life to all these other people, and they took it,” she said in a conversation with Gwenyth Paltrow posted online by Paltrow’s Goop.

Apple TV+ drama See starring Jason Jason Momoa to return for its third and final season on August 26, new teaser unveiled
Apple TV+ on Wednesday unveiled a first look at the third season of the epic, post-apocalyptic global hit series See, which will make its global debut on Friday, August 26, 2022. Starring Jason Momoa, the eight-episode third season will mark the last chapter of the series and will premiere with the first episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

The series features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision and has been honoured for its representation of the visually impaired, winning the Ruderman Family Foundation Seal of Authentic Representation in 2020. “See” was also recognised this year with an NAACP Image Awards nomination for star Alfre Woodard in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.
Starring alongside Momoa in the third season of “See” are ensemble cast members Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, Tom Mison, Olivia Cheng, Eden Epstein, Michael Raymond-James, David Hewlett and Trieste Kelly Dunn.

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has filed an FIR after she received a death threat at her Mumbai residence. The letter was sent to her house in Versova. After her complaint, Mumbai Police have begun the probe.
The letter was written in Hindi which says that the youth of India won't tolerate insults against Veer Savarkar. She posted a photo of the letter on her Instagram and wrote in Hindi, “देश के नौजवान तो ख़ैर सड़कों पर नौकरी की माँग कर रहे हैं.. पर एक प्रजाति महंगाई, बेरोज़गारी, भुखमरी सब सहेगी.. बस ऐतिहासिक सच और तथ्य नहीं सहेगी! इतना रोश - पर नम्बर रेवारी में बैठे किसी चाचा का डाला है भाई ने!”

BREAKING: Gupt’s special screening to be held in Mumbai on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala, and Kajol to grace the screening
One of the greatest murder mysteries of Bollywood, Gupt, completes 25 years on July 4. Released in 1997, the film starring Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala and Kajol was a super-hit due to the whodunit element, tight script, performances and of course, the unforgettable soundtrack. In short, Gupt is a landmark film in Bollywood. And when such an important film turns 25, the celebrations have to be there.
Bollywood Hungama has learnt that a special screening of the film will be held in Mumbai to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Popular radio station, Radio Nasha, has taken the initiative to organize the screening on Saturday, July 9, at Metro INOX Cinemas in South Mumbai. Interestingly, several members of the cast and crew will attend this show – lead actors Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala and Kajol, director Rajiv Rai, writer and production designer Shabbir Boxwala, music director Viju Shah, etc. Fans will also get a chance to win tickets to this screening, and thus be a part of this unforgettable event.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Gupt has achieved cult status. It had worked big time in cinemas. Those who had seen it on the big screen would get a chance to once again see the film in a cinema hall. Many are huge fans of the film and songs but they were born after the release of the film or were too young when it had released in theatres. They’ll get to experience the magic of the film in all its glory. Also, the actors and other team members would share trivia about the film and that’ll be an icing on the cake.”
When contacted, Shabbir Boxwala exclusively told Bollywood Hungama, “The way Radio Nasha is planning it, I am very thrilled. At the time of the release, we couldn’t enjoy the success, due to certain reasons. We can finally enjoy the film’s success now. I told the same thing to Rajiv as well, that let’s enjoy it now. God has given us a chance (laughs)!”
He also said that “All the actors are also excited for the screening, including Mukesh Rishi and Dalip Tahil. Unfortunately, some cast members are no more, like Om Puri. He was a vital part of the film. Even Ashok ji (cinematographer Ashok Mehta). I’ll miss him the most.”
Radio Nasha has held several such screenings of significant films in the past. One of their most memorable events was the screening of Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), on its 25th anniversary. It was held on August 9, 2019, at Mumbai’s Liberty cinema. Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, director Sooraj Barjatya and many others had graced the screening. The way the lead actors danced and the way the cast and crew went down memory lane made it a very exciting occasion.
Ranveer Singh heads out of India for his birthday; will meet Deepika Padukone in US

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to 397 distinguished artists and executives to join the organization in 2022. Membership selection is based on professional qualifications, with an ongoing commitment to representation, inclusion, and equity. This year's class of invitees includes 71 Oscar nominees, including 15 winners.
From India, Suriya and Kajol are among the 397 people that have been invited to become members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Director-writer Reema Kagti, producer Aditya Sood and documentary filmmakers Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas are also included in the list. International stars including Anya Taylor-Joy, Billie Eilish, Jamie Dornan, Dana Walden, and Leonard Maltin have been invited as well among others. According to Variety, "The 2022 class is 44% women, 37% belong to underrepresented ethnic/racial communities, and 50% are from 53 countries and territories outside the United States."

EXCLUSIVE: Varun Dhawan describes Bawaal actor Janhvi Kapoor as ‘patakha’; says, “She has taken care of me for two days when I was unwell”
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen together for the first time in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial Bawaal. The onscreen couple has already started shooting for it. While not much is revealed about the film, in a recent exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Varun spoke about his bonding with his onscreen co-star and how she helped him save his life when he was unwell.
Varun Dhawan, who was recently seen promoting the multi-starrer Jugjugg Jeeyo, spoke to Bollywood Hungama about shooting for Bawaal and his experience of working with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time. Reminiscing about the time she took care of him when he was unwell, Varun said, “She is really a sweetheart. Meri tabiyyat thodi kharab ho gayi thi wahan pe, tab ussine mera khayal rakha do din, genuinely. Soup wagaira sab mangaya usne. Ek jagah gaye the tabhi jahan khana nahi mil raha tha, Janhvi ne aise haath jode aur usne khana dilaya mujhe. Main bas usse shock mein dekh raha tha.” (Transl: I was unwell when we were shooting there and she has taken care of me for two days. She called for soup and all for me. In fact, we had been to a place where they were not serving food and she folded her hands and requested them to give me food and she did it. I was just looking at her in complete shock.)
He went on describe his co-star adding, “She comes across as such a shy person. She is also very shy as a person. Lekin woh jab khulti hai, toh she is like a patakha. (Transl: When she opens up, she is like a firecracker)”
In the same interview, Varun Dhawan had also expressed his keen interest in working with Janhvi’s brother and co-actor Arjun Kapoor.
Speaking of Bawaal, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and it is slated to release on April 7, 2023.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12: Rajiv Adatia sprains his leg while performing a stunt; co-contestant Pratik Sehajpal assures him that he will be fine
Known for its power-packed stunts, Khatron Ke Khiladi often sees celebs pushing their limits. Many contestants now and in the past seasons have suffered injuries and wounds while performing them. Although none of them have been fatal, the contestants have spoken about enduring their pain. In the ongoing shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 in Cape Town, yet another contestant seems to have been injured. Contestant Rajiv Adatia sprained his leg and a video of the same was shared by none other than his friend and co-contestant Pratik Sehajpal.
In the video shared by Pratik Sehajpal on his Instagram story, we can see that the contestant is enquiring about Rajiv Adatia and his injury and at the same time, advising him to get some rest as he assured him that all will be fine. A source close to the contestant said, “Rajiv Adatia’s video of his sprained leg from KKK was concerning for his fans. He sprained his leg whilst performing a stunts and a video of it was shared by fellow contestant Pratik Sehajpal where he was seen showing Rajiv resting it out on the bed having a sprained leg which was covered by a crepe bandage. While Rajiv described that he is in pain, Pratik consoled and assured him that all will be fine.”

TV stunt reality show Khatron ke Khiladi is known for the thrills and chills faced by the contestants and for making them perform dangerous stunts in the most unusual conditions. Russell Crowe to star in supernatural thriller The Pope’s Exorcist
Academy Award winner Russell Crowe is all set to star in Julius Avery’s upcoming supernatural thriller The Pope’s Exorcist for Screen Gems.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Crowe will portray real-life figure Father Gabriele Amorth, a priest who acted as chief exorcist of the Vatican and who performed more than 100,000 exorcisms in his lifetime. (He passed away in 2016 at the age of 91.) Amorth wrote two memoirs — An Exorcist Tells His Story and An Exorcist: More Stories — and detailed his experiences battling demons that had clutched people in their evil.
Avery will be directing The Pope’s Exorcist from a screenplay by Evan Spiliotopoulos, with revisions by Chuck MacLean. The script was based on original drafts by Chester Hastings & R. Dean McCreary, which received revisions from Michael Petroni. Per the report, Screen Gems previously acquired the life rights to the chief exorcist from Michael Patrick Kaczmarek and media company Loyola Productions; the deal included rights to Amorth’s two international best-selling tomes.
“It’s been a goal of mine to work with Russell,” Avery said in a statement. “To collaborate with him on the amazing Pope’s Exorcist is truly a dream come true.” Doug Belgrad of 2.0 Entertainment will produce along with Michael Patrick Kaczmarek for Jesus & Mary, Jeff Katz of Worldwide Katz and Loyola Productions President Eddie Siebert, with Scott Strauss, Michael Bitar and Giselle Johnson overseeing the project for Screen Gems.
On the work front, Russell Crowe won an Oscar for his work in 2000’s Gladiator. He recently wrapped a turn in Sony’s Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter, and will next star as Zeus in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder, which is opening July 8.

Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films greenlights six new films starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and others!
Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is getting back into action with full force post the pandemic. Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learnt that Dinesh Vijan has greenlit as many as six new films in a range of genres for 2022–23 release. All these yet unannounced movies will be content-driven dramas made on tight budgets and will star actors such as John Abraham, Shraddha Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Yami Gautam, and Ayushmann Khurrana among others.
Revealing the lucrative lineup of Maddock Films, a source close to the development informed Bollywood Hungama, “Dinesh Vijan is scaling up his production lineup and has planned to roll at least six new films this year. This is in addition to his already announced films such as Bhediya, Tehran, and the yet-untitled Laxman Utekar film with Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. There’s so much going on at Maddock Films right now, and the energy level out there is at an all-time high. You’ll soon hear multiple announcements coming out of Maddock Films, and mind you, it’s all very exciting."
The sources revealed that the company has already started shooting for two new films. One is the recently announced as Sector 36, a crime-thriller based on the Nithari serial murder that stars Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal in the lead, while the other is a female-oriented story that features Huma Qureshi and one more young actress. Come next month and John Abraham’s geo-political thriller Tehran will also start filming in the United Kingdom, eyeing a release in the first quarter of 2023. Vijan has also signed Vaani Kapoor for a social-comedy film, titled Sarvagunn Sampanna, which will see her playing a porn star look-alike fighting for her integrity in society. The Shonali Rattan Deshmukh-directed film will begin production in August.
Dinesh Vijan has then lined up a thriller film, titled Teacher’s Day, with Tabu headlining the cast. Mikhil Musale, who made his Bollywood debut with Vijan’s Rajkummar Rao-starrer Made in China, is directing this film that sees the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actress playing the role of a teacher for the first time in her three-decade career. The film will begin production in mid-August in Pune, and Vijan will begin work on the highly anticipated Stree prequel soon after. Shraddha Kapoor returns to tell the backstory of the girl who came to Stree and the complications she brought along, in this new part, titled Munjha. Marathi filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar will direct this new film in Vijan’s horror-comedy cinematic universe.
These confirmed projects aside, Dinesh Vijan is working on several more films and is in talks with actors such as Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rakul Preet, Kiara Advani, Pooja Hegde, and Tara Sutaria, among others. The producer has also signed Akshay Kumar for an action-based thrilling drama set against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force, which will go on floors in the first quarter of next year. They are also doing a comedy-thriller with Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal, which is shot and ready and will soon be released on an OTT platform. Laxman Utekar is also directing one more film for the banner, however, the details of that are not known as yet. They are also working on the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s best-selling novel, Club You to Death.
In addition to all these feature films, Maddock Films has also lined up two web series for the coming year. While the Amazon Prime series, Jee Karda is a coming-of-age show that delves into the lives of a close-knit group of seven childhood friends, trying to steer their way through adulthood, and stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Anya Singh, and Hussain Dalal in the lead, its Disney+ Hotstar series Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine which is a crime-thriller revolving around women working in the drug business. Radhika Madan and Dimple Kapadia play the leads in this Homi Adajania-directed show.

DID L'il Masters judges Sonali Bendre, Mouni Roy & Remo D'Souza crown Nobojit as the winner of season 5
This year, ZEE TV gave young kids an opportunity to display their love for dance as it launched DID L'il Masters Season 5. Thousands of kids auditioned to be a part of the show and exhibit their talent, but only a handful made it to the Grand Premiere episode. The top 15 went on to dance their hearts out, impressing one and all in the process. And now, after a successful run of three months full of dance and entertainment, DID L’il Masters culminated with a finale on 26th June 2022. To support the top 5 contestants during the fantastic finale, the star cast of Jugjugg Jeeyo - Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Prajakta Koli, and Maniesh Paul appeared on the show and we have to say that they brought the house down with their funny antics, intriguing anecdotes, and enchanting dance moves. All the celebrity guests along with the DID L’il Masters judges – Remo D’Souza, Sonali Bendre, and Mouni Roy also cheered the top 5 contestants to give their best during their finale acts.
While the contestants - Sagar, Nobojit, Appun, Adhyashree, and Rishita impressed one and all with their impressive finale acts, it was the season’s most consistent performer, Nobojit, who took home the trophy. Acing every challenge and giving tough competition to Nobojit were Appun and Adhyashree, who were announced as the first and second runner-up respectively. Apart from the fantastic finalists of the show, one special contestant who won everyone’s hearts during the finale episode was Ahmed Raja. All the finalists including Ahmed Raja were given cash prizes as a special surprise from DID L’il Masters.
Winner of DID L'il Masters Season 5, Nobojit mentioned, "DID L’il Masters has truly given me everything that I dreamed for! The reality show has given several talented kids a platform to showcase their talent and I am really happy that I could also display my dancing skills and win everyone’s heart. I worked really hard to reach here and I danced my heart out every week. My skipper Vaibhav and the judges – Remo Sir, Mouni Ma’am and Sonali Ma’am really helped me learn and grow and I am extremely thankful for their support and encouragement. Talking about Nobojit’s victory and his experience with this season, judge Remo D’Souza said, “Nobojit has been a fabulous performer, and I have seen his/her evolution at every stage of this season. He/she is a true winner. I must add that as a judge and mentor, I have thoroughly enjoyed this season, and I am glad that I was able to witness such amazing talent perform in front of us. BTS' J-Hope announces solo album Jack In The Box; first single to release on July 1
Musician j-hope of juggernaut BTS will release his new solo album Jack In The Box on July 15. BIGHIT MUSIC made the announcement on the global fandom platform Weverse today.
Jack In The Box lends voice to j-hope’s aspirations to break the mold and grow further. The album represents j-hope’s own musical personality and vision as an artist.
Ahead of the album release, the album’s 1st single will be unveiled on July 1.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions – Kiara Advani pair is a winner with fifth release, Jugjugg Jeeyo
Over the past couple of weeks, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor have been on the promotional tour for their recent release, Jugjugg Jeeyo. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom 18, directed by Raj Mehta, the film arrived in theatres on Friday, June 24. The family entertainer focuses on the two generation of couples who are on the verge of divorces. While the film has hit the theatres, especially the track, ‘The Punjaabban Song’ has been a viral hit. However, there’s an interesting dynamic between Kiara and the production house Dharma that has come a long way.
Dharma Productions and Kiara Advani have already worked together on several projects including Shershaah and Good Newwz – both of which have gone onto become successes whereas the digital releases Guilty and Lust Stories have been a breakout moment for Kiara Advani. With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan movie crosses 10 million footfalls at India box office for the first time
The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan released five weeks ago. Since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. However, now post its OTT release, the business of the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production has begun slowing down. However, despite this the film, which has raked in Rs. 184.32 crore, is gradually inching its way to the Rs. 200 crore mark.
In this box office report, we look at the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 while comparing the film to Kartik Aaryan’s previous releases, in terms of in theatre footfalls. Not surprisingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 enjoyed a massive spate of advance bookings, and emerged as Kartik’s biggest release. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has crossed the 10 million footfalls mark within the domestic market. As compared to Kartik’s previous releases, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 leads, with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety coming in second place with 9.13 million footfalls, Luka Chuppi coming in third with 6.62 million footfalls.
In terms of collections, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has emerged as Kartik Aaryan’s highest grossing film. Currently, with collections trickling in, predictions claim that the film might inch closer to Rs. 200 crore over the coming week.

Five weeks ago, we saw the release of the Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Starring Kartik Aaryan, the film that opened on a good note saw its business increase multi-fold as the weeks progressed. In fact, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani productions venture that also featured Kiara Advani has been doing rather well, managing to cross the Rs. 100 crore and Rs. 150 crore mark. Now, at the close of its fifth week running, the film's business has slowed down, but is inching its way closer to the Rs. 200 crore mark.
As Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 dominates the box office window, looking back at Kartik Aaryan’s last five releases at the box office what stands out is the fact that the actor has been doing rather well. In fact, among the last five releases Kartik has enjoyed one blockbuster in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which has collected Rs. 183.81 crore, one super-hit in the form of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) that drew in Rs. 108.95 crore, two hits with Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) and Luka Chuppi (2019) that collected Rs. 86.89 crore and Rs. 94.75 crore respectively. The sole underperformer at the box office among Kartik’s last five release being the 2020 release Love Aaj Kal that drew in Rs. 34.99 crore.
With four out of five films working magic at the box office, Kartik Aaryan has fast emerged as one of the most bankable young stars. Going forward, the actor who is currently riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has his hands full with multiple projects. Meera Chopra to star in Super Woman, a film on asexuality
Meera Chopra is renowned for her bold choices of roles on screen. Her upcoming film Super Woman is India's first film on asexuality. The first look of another film featuring Meera, titled Safed, was recently unveiled in the latest edition of the famous Cannes Film Festival.
On Super Woman, Meera Chopra said, "I was so intrigued by the script. The term 'asexual' is alien to Indians. So many women and men struggle to make their peers understand how they feel about it. While researching for the film, I came across jaw-dropping statistics on the number of suicides and forced marriages of asexual women. It is alarming! With "Super Women," we aim to bring a ray of hope to people who are struggling to convey their real feelings to society."
Sharing his thoughts, Piiyush Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Golden Ratio Films said, "As a production company, GRF has a reputation for producing films that the general public can identify with. Super Woman is a special cinema that sheds light on a theme that will resonate widely with discerning audiences."
On her recent film Safed's outing at the Cannes Film Festival, Meera stated, "It was a surreal and overwhelming experience for us. The world out there needs to know that a woman cannot be defined by her sexuality. ‘Sexual' or 'asexual,' every woman has the ability to conquer the world. We are not the 'weaker' sex anymore. A woman's greatest strength doesn't lie in her sexuality, it lies in her character, her spirit, and her personality. A woman’s worth is beyond her sexuality and our film states this beautifully. While researching I was appalled to see documentaries that belittled women merely as sex objects."
Super Woman has been directed by Zaigham Imam, who is globally known in the film festival circuit for his remarkable body of work and features stalwarts like Tigmanshu Dhulia and Poonam Dhillon. The film has been produced by Golden Ratio films.

BTS to hold global concert to bring the World Expo 2030 to Busan
Pop titans BTS, the newly appointed ambassadors for Busan’s World Expo 2030 bid, announced that the group would hold the Global Busan Concert to support the nation’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan Metropolitan City.
HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk and CEO Park Jiwon, and Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City Park Heong-joon signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) this morning at the Busan Metropolitan City Hall to promote Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030. As part of the agreement, BTS as ambassadors will hold the Global Busan Concert in efforts to bring the World Expo 2030 to Busan.
The memorandum covers joint initiatives for Busan to succeed in its bid as the host. It includes BTS to: Act as the ambassadors;Hold Global Concert in Busan, activities to appeal to the members of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE); Personally introduce the proposed site for the BIE Enquiry Missions; Serve as the ambassadors at South Korea’s presentation session; Be present on the election day to support the bid; Provide photos and videos for the city's digital campaigns, and; Spread promotional videos via official social media channels, and more.
Chairman Bang said, “Given the importance of its bid as a nation to host the World Expo 2030 in Busan, BTS and HYBE will do our best to successfully bring the World Expo to Busan. This will be a great opportunity to contribute to further development of K-Culture as well as its local pop cultures in Busan.”
Mayor Park said, “I’d like to express my sincere appreciation to the members of BTS and HYBE for accepting to be the ambassadors of the World Expo 2030 in Busan. The group’s support as ambassadors will be incredibly helpful in stepping up our efforts to bring the World Expo to Busan.”

Rapper Raftaar and his wife Komal Vohra separate after 6 years of marriage
Popular rapper Raftaar and his wife Komal Vohra have parted ways after six years of their marriage. The two of them have been reportedly living separately and filed for divorce in 2020.
According to several reports, the proceedings of their separation had been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. But, they will be now signing the divorce papers on October 6, this year. “Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial,” the source told Hindustan Times. The couple is yet to release an official statement.
Raftaar and Komal Vohra met through a mutual friend and dated each other for almost five years before tying the knot in 2016.
ZEE5 announces another season of Rangbaaz starring Vineet Kumar Singh

Speaking about the lead character, a source close to the series added, “As he gains power and money through his exploits, he also funnels his resources to help people. His image as the Robin-Hood-type character begins to solidify as he starts to feel accepted and validated. However, he possibly confuses fear for respect. This rise and the subsequent fall of Saheb reflects his journey from an unformed idealism to manipulative cynicism.”

The show is helmed by Navdeep Singh of NH10 fame. He added, “I have been a fan of the earlier seasons of Rangbaaz as this dark world of gangster politics fascinates me. Written by Siddharth Mishra, directed by Sachin Pathak and produced by JAR Pictures, Rangbaaz – Darr Ki Rajneeti will star Vineet Kumar Singh and Aakanksha Singh in leading roles. The 6-episode series also stars Geetanjali Kulkarni, Sudhanva Deshpande, Ashok Pathak, Soham Majumdar, Prashant Narayanan and others in pivotal roles.. Rangbaaz Season 3 will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 soon.
