Popular dance historian Sunil Kothari passes away; Hema Malini says he encouraged her in the initial stage of her career

Hema Malini took to Twitter to write a heartfelt note for popular dance historian Sunil Kothari who passed away on Sunday morning due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 87.

Hema Malini, who herself is a trained classical dancer, reminisced her memories with Kothari. "Sunil Kothari, eminent dance critic has passed away. He was one of those who encouraged me in the initial stage of my career. He was a passionate lover of art, a spl person who took grt interest in classical dance and encouraged young dancers. Will truly miss u Sunilji”.

Sunil Kothari was hospitalized for a long time now after he tested positive for COVID-19. He breathed his last on Sunday morning. While Kothari was being treated at home, he was rushed to the hospital on Sunday following a cardiac arrest.
