Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna drive to hospital through deserted road amid nationwide lockdown

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown amid Coronavirus pandemic. The 21-day lockdown was put in place to contain the spread of the virus that has crossed 1,000 mark. Amid the lockdown, Akshay Kumar had to visit the hospital with Twinkle Khanna as the latter got injured recently and needed her dressing changed.

On Sunday, Twinkle shared a video of the deserted roads in Mumbai as Akshay was seen wearing a mask and driving. She wrote, "Deserted roads all the way back from the hospital. Please don’t be alarmed, I am not about to kick the bucket because I really can’t kick anything at all."

In the video, Twinkle revealed that her foot was injured and that is why she had to make a quick stop to the hospital. She also gave a glimpse of her bandaged foot.

A few days ago, Akshay Kumar donated Rs. 25 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative PM CARES Fund to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
