Baba Ramdev opens up on Deepika Padukone's JNU visit, says she needs an adviser like him

Plenty has been said and written about Deepika Padukone's recent visit to JNU, in the light of an attack undertaken by masked miscreants, on the students. While many lauded her gesture, many called it a promotional stance for Chhapaak. Part of Twitter also trended #BoycottChhapaak, condemning Deepika's move.

Amid the entire episode that also invited remarks from politician, Baba Ramdev has opened up. While in Indore for a work-related visit, he reportedly said that Deepika needed to improve her social and political understanding, and that she needed an adviser like him. Okay!

Chhapaak, that tells the true story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, opened to mixed reviews and has been doing average at the box office as well. Deepika, also a producer of the film, is still promoting it and was recently seen at the Bigg Boss house.

Meanwhile, she will also be seen playing a brief role in husband Ranveer Singh's upcoming sports drama '83. While Ranveer essays the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, Deepika will play his wife Romi Dev.
