Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, and Manjot Singh's Fukrey 3 goes on floors

After much delay, Fukrey 3 has gone on floors. The successful franchise is headlined by Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chaddha, Varun Sharma, and Manjot Singh. The film directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and backed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment was supposed to go on floors in April last year. However, owing to the pandemic, the shoot of the film was delayed.

Taking to his social media on Thursday, actor Varun Sharma was happy to announce the third installment Fukrey 3, which went on floors today. He wrote, “Shuru Hogayi!!!”

Ever since the announcement was made, it created a wave of excitement among the audience and especially the fans of the Fukrey franchise.

The popular movie franchise is considered among the cult classics of the Indian cinema and has become a huge hit for giving viewers a wholesome experience and making sure to deliver a burst of giggles.

Fukrey 3 stars Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Richa Chaddha, Manjot Singh, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced under Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.

Kim Kardashian declared 'legally single' after filing for divorce from Kanye West; drops West from her name

American socialite and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian is officially single now. After over a year of filing divorce from American rapper Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, a Los Angeles judge granted Kim Kardashian's request to be declared legally single.

As per a report in Billboard, the hearing took place in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (March 2). Judge Steven Cochran approved the reality star’s request to split her divorce from West into two parts — immediately ending their marriage, while punting more complex questions about assets and custody to future proceedings. "The Court grants termination of the marital status," the judge said in a written order issued after a public hearing.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star appeared at the hearing through a live video conference and was represented by Hollywood’s prominent divorce lawyer Laura Wasser while Kanye West, who did not attend the hearing, was represented by well-known Hollywood family attorney Samantha Spector.

As per the reports, attorneys for Kanye West had sought three preconditions before such a ruling. The judge granted one, about what happens if either star dies before the divorce case is finalized, but denied two others, including restrictions on what would happen if Kardashian quickly remarried. Both sides initially said that the split was amicable, but the relationship between the estranged couple has become increasingly acrimonious in the year since, as both have begun public romances with new partners.

In the hearing, Judge Cochran asked the fashion mogul if problems, differences and disputes caused the breakdown of her marriage with Kanye West. He then asked Kim Kardashian if it was her desire to become a single person. Kardashian replies with a simple "yes" and the judge declared, "It is granted,” following which the reality TV officially dropped ‘West’ from her name.

Kim Kardashian had filed for divorce a year ago in February 2021, citing irreconcilable differences with Kanye West. The former couple married in May 2014 and share four children together: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Kim Kardashian is currently dating Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson while Kanye West is romantically linked with actress Julia Fox.

Post Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt to ring her birthday with beach vacation

Alia Bhatt, who turns a year older on March 15, has a lot to celebrate this year. Her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi is being lauded to the skies, and beyond.

Alia has received  congratulatory calls  from  practically the who’s- who of the film industry including Vidya Balan,  who many felt was the  right fit for Gangubai’s role, and told  Sanjay Leela Bhansali as much . But, even Vidya Balan thinks no one could have played Gangubai like Alia did.

“What can I say? It’s very humbling, very encouraging.  It gives me the strength to keep doing what I am doing,” says Alia during an interview.

She now confesses to being totally exhausted after the process of performing in and promoting Gangubai Kathiawadi. “I need a break. And there is my birthday coming up. So I will be vacationing somewhere…I can’t tell you where right now. But I see a lot of blue water,” she reveals with a laugh.

Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar to release on May 13, 2022; unveils quirky announcement video

Ranveer Singh is starring in Yash Raj Films’ Jayeshbhai Jordaar and produced by Maneesh Sharma, a big screen entertainer that will present a new brand of hero and heroism that is rare in Indian cinema through the lead protagonist Jayeshbhai. The much-awaited film is releasing on May 13, 2022, and Ranveer is eager for pan-Indian audiences, across age groups, to see this film because he feels Jayeshbhai Jordaar will touch the hearts of everyone with its inspiring story.

YRF dropped an innovative date announcement video today in which Ranveer stresses the point that he is delighted that a new kind of never-seen-before hero will emerge on the big screen. Ranveer describes what people can expect Jayeshbhai, the character to be. He says, “Jayesh is not your typical larger-than-life hero but what he does in the course of the story is heroic. And that is something I was attracted to. He evolves into a hero and what he pulls off is remarkable and truly super. He is a superhero of a very unconventional type.”

The superstar is all praise for Jayeshbhai Jordaar director Divyang Thakkar, who he feels has made one of the most endearing films in the history of Indian cinema. Ranveer says, “My mentor Adi Chopra called me one day and he said ‘I have found a miracle script and I would like for you to hear it’ and I went for the narration. Divyang Thakkar who’s never directed anything before, gave me a narration in which I was laughing through my tears and guffawing, laughing and crying at the same time. I had a tissue box kept on the table which got over by the end of the narration. I was entertained, moved.”

He says, “I agreed then and there on the spot to be a part of this film. The heart of this film is the writer-director Divyang Thakkar and he is a bundle of pure love and joy and the goodness of his heart, the kind, humble and loving soul that he is, reflects in his work, his writing in his film and in my character.”

Ranveer is called a shape-shifter, a master chameleon who transforms on screen every single time and he again went through a metamorphosis to become Jayeshbhai. He says, “Jayesh is a character that I have never attempted before and so it was something completely fresh and new for me to embody which was a very exciting prospect for me. I had to really create something because of this type of characterisation and these types of emotional beats, I have not played before. I saw the prospect of creating something unique and original for myself and as a performer, it’s been a very fulfilling process.”

The best actor of his generation, Ranveer adds, “I really make it a point to continue the pattern of surprising the audience and Jayeshbhai offered me the opportunity to do something that I have never done before and after my portrayal of Kapil Dev I think here is something that’s vastly and starkly different on offer from me as a performer and I was happy that this opportunity came along.”

He further says, “I have always hoped, prayed and wished that I don’t repeat myself, that my characters are vastly different from one another, that my repertoire is diverse, my filmography is diverse. And this offered me an opportunity to explore a new dimension in terms of performance and craft.”

After Shah Rukh Khan announces Republic weekend 2023 for Pathaan, makers of Fighter and Tehran likely to shift their release date to avoid a clash

On Wednesday morning, YRF finally made an official announcement of their much-awaited film Pathaan. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, the announcement of this film was done in a grand fashion and it immediately went viral. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan were eagerly awaiting an official announcement ever since the film went on floors in November 2020. The makers announced that the film will be released on January 25, 2023.

Interestingly, two other films are also scheduled to release over the Republic Day weekend 2023- Fighter and Tehran. What's even more interesting is that Fighter is being directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Deepika Padukone along with Hrithik Roshan. Tehran, on the other hand, is headlined by John Abraham.

But now with Pathaan going ahead with the Republic 2023 weekend, the makers of Fighter and Tehran will eventually postpone the release dates of their respective films as Siddharth Anand is directing Pathaan and it stars Deepika and John in lead roles along with SRK. Therefore, a three-way clash is highly unlikely considering that all three films are big-scale action entertainers and have the same actors leading the projects.

With the kind of anticipation and buzz around Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, it is highly unlikely that any other filmmaker would want to release their film alongside Pathaan. In all possibilities, Pathaan will enjoy a solo release at the box office and is expected to break records. The film will also mark the return of King Khan on the big screen after four years. He was last seen on the screen in the 2018 film Zero which failed to perform at the box office.

Back in March 2021, Bollywood Hungama had reported that actor Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor will make her debut in Bollywood as a talent with Dharma Cornerstone Agency. The project will be produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta’s Dharma Productions. In November 2o21, Shanaya Kapoor had begun shooting for her debut project. The film stars Dharma Cornerstone Agency's two other talents Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfatez Pirzada. Karan Johar, on March 3rd, took to social media to officially announce the film Bedhadak.
