Saira Banu recalls her last meeting with Rishi Kapoor in this touching note

Rishi Kapoor’s demise has left his industry colleagues shocked to the core. The veteran actor lost his battle to leukaemia on Thursday and was cremated on the same day. He has not only been a great actor since he was a teenager but has also managed to maintain personal relationships from his father, Raj Kapoor’s time with absolute ease.

Saira Banu, wife of Dilip Kumar, shared a touching note from his Twitter account as she is not on any social media platforms. The note speaks about how Rishi Kapoor kept the bond between Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar alive. She tweeted, “Met loving #RishiKapoor hale and hearty recently.He always made it a point to affectionately come personally in our old traditional ways to give any invitation to family functions. Rishi always kept in touch n kept alive the bond of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor. RIP”
