Amitabh Bachchan recalls being the first Indian to perform at the Madison Square Garden with a throwback picture

Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the biggest superstars of the industry and has had a global mark since the beginning of his career. The actor is known across the globe for his impeccable acting skills and being an audience favourite, he has performed during the 80s at some of the most well-known arenas including the iconic Madison Square Garden. Amitabh Bachchan, being one of the most active celebrities on social media, often shares throwback pictures reminiscing the good old days.

Sharing his poster from the very first performance at Madison Square Garden back in 1983, Amitabh Bachchan recalled being the first Indian to perform at the arena. He wrote, “1983 .. !!! My first LIVE performance .. that sign board at the back is Madison Square Garden New York .. the first ever Indian performer at this most prestigious World Stadium ..” While the picture went viral for all the right reasons, his granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda commented with a heart emoji on the picture.
