The actress’ recent appearance at the Lakme India Fashion Week in Mumbai has triggered a controversy where a man named Eklavya Singh, who is a member of the Hind Rakshak Sangathan and son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur, has filed a complaint against the actress for her look at the prestigious fashion show. In the complaint, Singh has alleged that Taapsee Pannu wore a revealing outfit while adorning temple jewellery with Goddess Laxmi’s statue in the locket. An official was quoted in ANI reports, opening up about the complaint registered against the actress saying, “We received a complaint from Eklavya Gaur (son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur) against actor Taapsee Pannu for hurting religious sentiments and image of ‘Sanatan Dharma’ by wearing a locket having ‘Goddess Laxmi’ with revealing dress during ramp walk at Lakme Fashion Week held on March 12 in Mumbai.” The officials have asserted that investigation of the matter in currently in process. For the unversed, Taapsee Pannu walked the ramp in a beautiful red gown with embellishments. The gown featured a plunging neckline and the actress paired up the modern outfit with a statement neckpiece featuring the Goddess Lakshmi idol. The actress had turned showstopper for designer Monisha Jaisingh and Reliance Jewels. Shiv Thakare opens up about a casting couch experience where he was being taken to a ‘massage center’

From being a simple guy from Amravati to now a popular reality show star, Shiv Thakare has been making his slow yet steady way into the world of Indian entertainment industry. But the former Bigg Boss contestant has definitely faced his fair share of struggles and Thakare, recently opened up about casting couch experiences, which has been a prominent challenge in this industry. He recalled a meeting with a casting director, where he was taken to a ‘massage centre’. In the past, many celebrities have opened up about #MeToo and casting couch experiences, which according to many, is quite rampant in the industry. Revealing about one such incident, Shiv Thakare said that how once the casting director had invited him to a ‘massage center’ after his audition. The reality show star recalled the experience in a Hindustan Times report, saying, "I once went for an audition in Aram Nagar, and he took me to the bathroom and said, ‘Yaha pe massage centre hai’. I didn’t get the connection between an audition and a massage centre. He told me, ‘Ek baar aap aao yaha audition ke baad. Aap workout bhi karte ho...’ I just left the place, since he was a casting director and I didn’t want to take any pangas. I am no Salman Khan.” Besides that, he also remembered yet another incident where a woman invited him to audition for a role at 11pm. Although he didn’t quite like the sound of it, and refused to meet her at an odd time, he revealed in the interview, “Itna bhola toh nahi hoon main ki (I am not that naïve that) I won’t understand what auditions happen at night. So, I told her that I have some work and I cannot make it. To this, she said, ‘Kaam Nahi karna? (don’t you wanna work?)’ ‘You won’t get work in the industry’ and other such things.” He further went on to add how these people would ‘demotivate’ and ‘manipulate’ strugglers in order to get what they want. Ayan Mukerji says Brahmastra 2 and 3 will be shot simultaneously, sequel to release in 2026: ‘We will write it better without comprising it’

Following years of wait and much anticipation, Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva starring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Alia Bhatt released in the theatres on September 9, 2022. While the visual spectacle collected Rs. 257.44 cr in India, the film is the first installment in the Ayan Mukerji-directed trilogy. The director has now revealed that they plan to shoot the sequels simultaneously with an aim to release the second part in 2026. At the News18 Rising India summit in New Delhi, Ayan Mukerji said, “We will make Brahmastra 2 and 3 together. The truth is we are going to take a little bit of time to write it. I know there’s a lot of anticipation.” He added, “People want the (second part of the film) film to come out. But pehle achchi tarah se likhenge without compromising it. I think it will be about three years from now before we see Brahmastra 2 on the big screen." While Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva might have been successful at the box office, it did draw criticism for its weak dialogues which were penned by Hussain Dalal. The filmmaker acknowledged the criticism by saying, “We did get some mixed reactions. We still did really good numbers. A lot of people accepted our film. It also did well when it came out on streaming (platform). It’s probably the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022. But I still hear that criticism very clearly.” He further said, “The thing is I accept and agree with some of it. Some of that criticism came down to some aspects related to the writing and story of Brahmastra. I want to understand these things and make part two better.” Brahmastra also had a cameo of Shah Rukh Khan, with Mouni Roy playing the antagonist. Salman Khan Threat Case: Dhakad Ram Bishnoi arrested in Jodhpur by Mumbai Police

Over a week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security was beefed up by the Mumbai Police after one of his associates, Jordy Patel, received a threat via an email. His close friend Prashant Gunjalkar filed a complaint regarding the same and a case was registered at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and a person named Rohit Garg under IPC sections 506(2),120(b) & 34. Now, Mumbai Police has arrested a man named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi in Jodhpur in connection with the email threatening case. As per reports, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi (21) is a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village in Jodhpur. He was reportedly out on bail under the Arms Act. Gaurav Yadav, Jodhpur’s DCP (West), said that a team from Mumbai’s Bandra Police had arrived to arrest him. “They asked us to assist them in detaining Bishnoi. We provided them with the support and handed Bishnoi over to the Mumbai PoliceYadav said, as reported by PTI on Sunday. "After a detailed technical investigation into the case, police got information about the accused person's whereabouts, following which a team was sent to Rajasthan and the man was apprehended," a police official said. According to a previous report in PTI, a police official said that “two Assistant Police Inspector (API)-rank officers and eight to ten constables will be part of Khan's security detail round the clock.” The official also added that fans won’t be allowed to assemble outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. It was earlier reported that Y-plus security has been provided to Salman Khan by the police. He will also travel in bullet-proof car with his personal security detail. Additional security measures have also been given to the actor. As per reports, a person named Rohit Garg allegedly issued the threat and mentioned Goldy Brar, Canadian gangster's name, saying the latter wants to meet the actor in person. Recently, Lawrence Bishnoi also allegedly said that killing Salman is his life's goal. In a recent report shared by ABP News, Bishnoi was quoted saying, “There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him but he did not apologize. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.” He went on to add that he has been harboring the feeling of hatred ever since childhood. Bishnoi continued, “Will break his ego sooner or later. He should come to our deity’s temple and apologize. REVEALED: Yash Raj Films earns Rs. 115 crores as net profit on an operating income of Rs 614 crores in FY 2021-22; FY 2022-23’s profit to be HIGHER thanks to Pathaan’s BLOCKBUSTER success

Some significant films from Bollywood haven’t worked in recent times. But thanks to the blockbuster success of Pathaan, the industry is able to breathe easy for the time being. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, this Yash Raj Films (YRF) production broke several records and is now the biggest Hindi grosser ever, crossing the collections of Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (2017). And recently, YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani shared some interesting details about how the company’s fortunes changed thanks to Pathaan. In an interaction with The Economic Times, Akshaye Widhani said that in terms of revenue, FY 2023-24 will be bigger than FY 2019-20 and 2021-22 for YRF. He also confessed that the Spy Universe has become a precious IP for them and that it is India’s biggest franchise. The Spy Universe’s first film was Ek Tha Tiger (2012), starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The same star cast was repeated in Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Then, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff were seen in War (2019). All these aforementioned films were huge blockbusters in cinemas. Pathaan meanwhile was a one-of-its-kind Spy Universe film as it also featured Salman Khan as Tiger. The Economic Times article also mentions that as per an Acuite Ratings report, Yash Raj Films in FY 2019-20 recorded a net profit of Rs. 61 crores on operating income of Rs. 614 crores. In FY 2021-22, it had a net profit of Rs. 115 crores on an operating income of Rs 614 crores. Pathaan meanwhile has already collected more than Rs. 1000 crores globally. And this year, YRF is scheduled to have two more releases – Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, and The Great Indian Family, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar. Tiger 3 will release on Diwali 2023 and will have a special appearance of Shah Rukh Khan, reprising his role of Pathaan. And that’s not all. Akshaye Widhani, in interaction with Variety, has admitted that they are looking to now release Pathaan in China, Japan and Latin America. This can further add to Pathaan’s box office collections and also YRF’s revenues. Producer of Sachin - A Billion Dreams Ravi Bhagchandka teams up with Aamir Khan & Sony Pictures for a sports film

Sachin – A Billion Dreams, which was based on India’s cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, was one of a kind documentary that also did well at the box office apart from gaining critical acclaim. Now, the producer of the film Ravi Bhagchandka has teamed up with Aamir Khan and Sony Pictures to producer a sports drama titled Champions. Sharing more about the film, Bhagchandka said in a statement, “Champions is not an out and out sports film. It has a human-interest story against the backdrop of sports.” The film is the official remake of the 2018 Spanish film Campeones (English title: Champions). “We saw the film at the Berlin Film Festival and we really liked what we saw. It’s about the individual challenges of the differently abled and how they are living their lives. There are also a lot of heart-warming and humorous moments in the film and that’s essentially what we liked most about the film,” added Bhagchandka. He also said that they will reveal the cast of the film at a later date. Apart from Champions, Bhagchandka has a series of other projects lined up under his banner 200 NOTOUT. The name of the banner is dedicated to Tendulkar’s highest score of 200 not out in one-day internationals. He is the first batter to achieve the feat. One of his other upcoming projects is the film adaptation of George McCutcheon’s 1902 book Brewster’s Millions. Speaking about this and few other projects, Bhagchandka added, “We have already examined various drafts of the script; it’s shaping up well and we should be able to kick that off soon. Apart from this, we are planning a political thriller web series based on one of Ashwin Sanghi’s best-selling books. Om Raut and Bhushan Kumar visit Vaishno Devi to seek blessings for Adipurush

Filmmaker Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar recently visited the holy Vaishno Devi temple on the occasion of Navratri and to seek blessings for their upcoming keenly awaited film Adipurush, which stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. For the unversed, Vaishno Devi is one of the foremost pilgrimage sites in India, situated in Jammu and Kashmir. Sharing more about the visit, a statement from the makers said, “Remarking the creation of universe and beginning of the world by Maa Shri Durga, Chaitra Navratri holds immense significance in the Hindu culture! Netflix gets legal notice over derogatory remark on Madhuri Dixit in The Big Bang Theory episode; action demanded to remove episode

Author and political analyst Mithun Vijay Kumar has sent a legal notice to Netflix asking the streaming giant to remove one of the episodes of its popular show The Big Bang Theory. In the first episode of season two, the character Raj Koothrapalli, played by Kunal Nayyar, uses derogatory remarks against Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit. In the legal notice, Mithun Vijay Kumar pointed out that the remarks made by Raj Koothrapalli are not only offensive but also defamatory. The notice states that such content can have a negative impact on society, particularly in perpetuating harmful stereotypes against women. He further states that the content promotes sexism and misogyny which is not acceptable in any form. The legal notice demands that Netflix remove the episode immediately and failure to do so would result in legal action for promoting discrimination against women. The legal notice has been sent to Netflix's office in Mumbai. If Netflix fails to respond or does not comply with the demands made in the legal notice, Mithun Vijay Kumar has stated that he will take further legal action against the streaming giant. On Twitter, he wrote, “Recently, I came across an episode of the show Big Bang Theory on Netflix where Kunal Nayyar's character uses an offensive and derogatory term to refer to the legendary Bollywood actress @MadhuriDixit. As a fan of Madhuri Dixit since childhood, I was deeply disturbed by the dialogue. I found it highly derogatory and offensive towards Indian culture and women. So I asked my lawyer to send a legal notice to Netflix, requesting that they remove the episode from their platform. This term was used in reference to the acclaimed actress Madhuri Dixit, and it was not only offensive and deeply hurtful but also showed a lack of regard for her dignity. I strongly believe that streaming service providers must take such issues seriously and act quickly to address any instances of offensive or defamatory content. Furthermore, streaming service providers should be proactive in preventing such content from being streamed. This can be achieved through clear guidelines and rigorous screening processes for all the content published. Nawazuddin Siddiqui files Rs. 100 crore defamation case against his brother and estranged wife

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has moved the court for defaming and maligning his image and has filed a defamation suit against Shamas Nawab Siddiqui and former wife Aaliya Siddiqui seeking damages of Rs. 100 crores. As per current reports, the hearing will be held on March 30 by Justice RI Chagla. The suit has come after several allegations were thrown against the Kick actor after his wife accused the Siddiqui family of harassment and torture. In his suit, the actor has alleged that the allegations thrown towards him has affected his public image. In the suit that has been filed through advocate Sunil Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has alleged that he is unable to make any kind of appearances or attend social gatherings owing to the many accusations thrown towards him. He has alleged that these ‘misleading claims’ have impacted his career and hence, he has also requested the court to pass an order of injunction to restrict his brother and estranged wife Anjana Pandey alias Aaliya Siddiqui from making any more defamatory comments against him, along with a request added for taking down the already existing remarks and statements against him. Furthermore, in the same suit, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also alleged that his brother has committed several fraudulent transactions which has resulted in major monetary loss for the actor. The actor has further alleged that due to misappropriation of funds, the actor currently owes a whopping amount of Rs. 37 crores to the government, after his brother failed to make some major payments. Furthermore, he has also accused his wife Aaliya Siddiqui of being an accomplice to his brother and misappropriating Rs. 21 crores. As per the given report, when Nawazuddin confronted his brother regarding the missing funds, the latter is claimed to have ‘instigated’ Nawaz’s estranged wife against the Siddiqui family, which led to her alleging that how her in-laws tortured and harassed her. Salman Khan Threat Case: Dhakad Ram Bishnoi arrested in Jodhpur by Mumbai Police

Over a week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security was beefed up by the Mumbai Police after one of his associates, Jordy Patel, received a threat via an email. His close friend Prashant Gunjalkar filed a complaint regarding the same and a case was registered at the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and a person named Rohit Garg under IPC sections 506(2),120(b) & 34. Now, Mumbai Police has arrested a man named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi in Jodhpur in connection with the email threatening case. As per reports, Dhakad Ram Bishnoi (21) is a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village in Jodhpur. He was reportedly out on bail under the Arms Act. Gaurav Yadav, Jodhpur’s DCP (West), said that a team from Mumbai’s Bandra Police had arrived to arrest him. “They asked us to assist them in detaining Bishnoi. We provided them with the support and handed Bishnoi over to the Mumbai PoliceYadav said, as reported by PTI on Sunday. "After a detailed technical investigation into the case, police got information about the accused person's whereabouts, following which a team was sent to Rajasthan and the man was apprehended," a police official said. According to a previous report in PTI, a police official said that “two Assistant Police Inspector (API)-rank officers and eight to ten constables will be part of Khan's security detail round the clock.” The official also added that fans won’t be allowed to assemble outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra. It was earlier reported that Y-plus security has been provided to Salman Khan by the police. He will also travel in bullet-proof car with his personal security detail. Additional security measures have also been given to the actor. As per reports, a person named Rohit Garg allegedly issued the threat and mentioned Goldy Brar, Canadian gangster's name, saying the latter wants to meet the actor in person. Recently, Lawrence Bishnoi also allegedly said that killing Salman is his life's goal. In a recent report shared by ABP News, Bishnoi was quoted saying, “There is anger in our society for Salman Khan. He humiliated my society. A case was filed against him but he did not apologize. If he does not tender an apology, be ready to face the consequences. I will not depend on anyone else.” He went on to add that he has been harboring the feeling of hatred ever since childhood. Bishnoi continued, “Will break his ego sooner or later. He should come to our deity’s temple and apologize. Salman Khan brings Pooja Hegde in place of Kareena Kapoor Khan in Pavan Putra

Released in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan not only became one of the biggest hits but also a film that found mass acceptance. Starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and child actress Harshali Malhotra, the film about the unusual bond between a simpleton Indian and a little Pakistani girl moved hearts. Last year, fans of Salman Khan had a moment of rejoice when the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan titled Pavan Putra was announced. The thought of seeing their favourite star essay the same role again was reason enough to excite them. But there was no update on the project following the announcement. But now, Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Salman has brought Pooja Hegde on board for Pavan Putra. In other words, the film will see her replacing Kareena Kapoor. Whether Pooja will play the same character that Kareena played in the first film is not known yet. Interestingly, Pooja is also the leading lady in Salman’s upcoming release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film is all set to release during Eid in April this year. For the unversed, Bajrangi Bhaijaan told the story of a mute Pakistani girl Munni (Harshali), who gets separated from her mother when the latter had visited India with her for a religious purpose. Sonu Nigam’s father robbed of Rs. 72 lakh, FIR registered against ex-driver

Sonu Nigam’s father Agamkumar Nigam has filed an FIR (First Information Report) against his former driver for allegedly stealing Rs. 72 lakh from his residence in Mumbai. The singer's father lives at Windsor Grand building in Oshiwara, Andheri west. The alleged robbery took between March 19 and March 20. The FIR was registered by Sonu Nigam's sister Nikita who reached Oshiwara police station in the wee hours of Wednesday. As per the complaint, Agamkumar Nigam has a driver named Rehan for 8 months but was sacked from the job after his performance was unsatisfactory, as told by an official. As per a report in PTI, an official said that Agamkumar visited Nikita's home in the Versova area on March 19 for lunch. He was back at his residence after sometime. He called his daughter in the evening to inform her that “Rs 40 lakh was missing from a digital locker kept in a wooden cupboard.” Agamkumar Nigam visited his son's house the next day at 7 Bungalows for visa-related work. He returned home later that evening to find out Rs. 32 lakh were missing from the locker and that it wasn't damaged. As per the report, the official added, “Agamkumar and Nikita checked the CCTV footage of his society which showed his former driver Rehan going towards his flat with a bag on both days when he was away. Agamkumar suspects Rehan entered his flat with the help of a duplicate key and stole Rs. 72 lakh from the digital locker in the bedroom.” An FIR has been filed under the Indian Penal Code sections 380, 454 and 457 for robbery and trespassing. Akshay Kumar’s remake of Soorarai Pottru to release on September 1

The release date of the Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal starrer Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru is out. The Sudha Kongara directorial venture will be releasing in theatres on September 1 this year. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment, the yet untitled film is tentatively called Production No. 27. Released in November 2020, Soorarai Pottru starred Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu, among others. The film was also helmed by Sudha Kongara. The Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru went on floors in April 2022 in an auspicious way through the breaking of a coconut by Radhika. The video of the same was shared by Akshay back then. He had also asked his fans to suggest a title for the film. “With the auspicious coconut-breaking and a small prayer in our heart, we begin the filming of our yet untitled film which is about dreams and the power of it ???? “OTT platforms were given freedom for creativity, not obscenity,” says I&B Minister Anurag Thakur; speaks on censorship complaints

In recent years, especially during the nationwide lockdown, India witnessed a surge in the popularity of Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms, with the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ Hotstar leading the way. However, with the rise of these platforms, the issue of vulgarity and obscenity in their content has led to a growing debate on the need for regulation. Speaking on the matter, once again, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur has warned OTT platforms against the usage of obscene content, and abusive language in the name of creativity. It all happened during a press conference held on Sunday. In a video, shared by Anurag Thakur himself, he asserted, “The process so far is that the producer has to resolve the received complaints at the first level. 90 to 92 per cent of the complaints are resolved by them by making necessary changes. The next level of complaint resolution is at the level of their association, where most of the complaints are resolved.” He further added, “At the last level, it comes to the level of the government, where the action is taken on the departmental committee level, according to the rules in place. But somewhere complaints have started increasing in the last few days and the department is taking it very seriously. If there is a need to make a change, we are willing to consider it.” The minister continued, “Abusive language in the name of creativity will not be tolerated. The government is serious about the complaints of increasing abusive and obscene content on OTT platforms. If there is a need to make any changes in the rules regarding this, the ministry is willing to consider that. These platforms were given freedom for creativity, not obscenity. And when someone crosses a limit, then abuse or rudeness in the name of creativity cannot be accepted at all. Mumbai police take action against gangsters Bishnoi and others for threatening Salman Khan

Not too long ago, there were reports of how Lawrence Bishnoi threatened Salman Khan and told the superstar to apologize to his community after the actor was accused of killing a blackbuck during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain. Now, adding further, a staff member of the Sultan actor’s team has found a threatening letter asking Salman to have a talk with Canadian gangster Goldie Brar, in an email that was sent by a certain Rohit Garg. Salman Khan’s manager Prashant Gunjalkar came across the email last week, which Khan had received from a certain Rohit Garg who asked the superstar to have an interaction with Goldie Garg in order to resolve his issues with Lawrence Bishnoi. Furthermore, the email was reportedly said to have been written under the presumption that Salman Khan witnessed the interview that was given by Bishnoi recently. It had the gangster threatening to kill the superstar, if he didn’t apologize for allegedly killing a blackbuck. For the unversed, the blackbuck killing case that can be traced to the late 90s, witnessed serious allegations against the superstar for allegedly hunting a rare species, which is also considered to be sacred among the Bishnoi community. Followed by the threatening email, on Saturday night, Gunjalkar contacted the Mumbai police and registered a complaint against the three names. As per a statement reportedly given by an official in Bandra police station, the authorities have taken serious cognisance of this threat, followed by which they increased the security for the superstar. And besides that, they also registered a complaint under sections 12(B) and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code, which includes charges of criminal conspiracy and intimidation. Salman went on his Instagram Live to narrate the “disturbing” incident where he felt harassed by the officer. Along with the video, he shared the details of the incident in the caption as well. Ranbir Kapoor confirms Ayan Mukerji is writing Brahmastra 2 and 3; expected to go on floors by 2023 end

Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor has been busy promoting Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The film, released in theatres today on the occasion of Holi, marks his return to the romantic comedy genre after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor and is helmed by Luv Ranjan. However, he hasn't signed any project apart from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal and Brahmastra sequels by Ayan Mukerji. The actor says that Ayan is already writing the sequel and the project is expected to go on floors by year end. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor shared, "We have to make Brahmastra 2 and 3. Ayan (Mukerji, director) is writing the film right now and hopefully, we will start it by the end of this year or next year." Brahmastra: Part 1 - Shiva released in September 2022 and was a project that was 12 years in the making.  It starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. REVEALED: Shah Rukh Khan was TAKEN ABACK when he saw the trespassing duo in his make-up room; Mannat’s staff provided them first-aid for their injuries before handing them to the police

Last week, reports came in that two youths sneaked into Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic bungalow Mannat. They were later caught and handed over to the police. Now, reports have emerged that the teenagers had remained hidden in one of the rooms in the bungalow and had given Shah Rukh Khan the shock of his life. As per a report in The Times Of India, the names of these trespassers are Pathan Sahil Salim Khan, aged 18, and Ram Khushuva, aged 19. While the former is a labourer, the latter is a vegetable seller. Both belong to Bharuch, Gujarat and they came to Mumbai on March 1 to see Shah Rukh Khan. On March 2, at 3:00 am, they reached Mannat and taking advantage of the scaffolding erected for repairs, they jumped inside the bungalow. The report further states that they entered the make-up room and remained there till 10:30 am. This is when Shah Rukh Khan entered this room and saw the duo. As expected, the superstar was left shocked and he immediately called a staffperson from his housekeeping team. They were handed to the security team and later were taken away by the police. The police kept them in their custody for a day and realized that they were no evidence of malicious intent. On Saturday, March 4, their parents arrived in Mumbai and secured their bail. A payment of Rs. 20,000 was done to release them from police custody. The parents claimed that they had no idea about the plans of the duo to come to Mumbai. Meawhile, the report claimed that Pathan Sahil Salim Khan and Ram Khushuva suffered minor injuries on their nose while scaling the compound wall of Mannat. The much awaited film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, is all set to release tomorrow in cinemas. Directed by Luv Ranjan, there's a lot of hype for the film due to the fresh pairing of Ranbir Kapoor with Shraddha Kapoor, youthful appeal and hit songs. Meanwhile, several reports have claimed that Kartik Aaryan features in a cameo in this romcom. But the makers never confirmed about it. Bollywood Hungama has now learnt that the speculations are true. A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Yes, Kartik Aaryan indeed has a fun special appearance. He appears in the film at a crucial point and his role will be loved by the moviegoers." And that's not all. The source continued, "Nushrratt Bharuccha also is seen in a hilarious special appearance in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Both Kartik and Nushrratt began their careers and earned fame by working in Luv Ranjan's films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). Hence, when Luv asked them to shoot for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, they were more than happy to be a part of it. Their presence enhances the madness quotient in the film." After Luv Ranjan and Ranbir Kapoor's recent statement on crossover, many are also speculating that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar's characters bump into the characters of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. However, the source clarified, "There's no such crossover happening. Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bharuccha are not essaying a role from any previous film. SCOOP: Ranbir Kapoor offered 2 films by Luv Ranjan even before Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases

Ranbir Kapoor had recently said that he was keen to work with filmmaker Luv Ranjan after he saw the latter’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. His wish finally came true with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which is all set to release day after tomorrow in cinemas. The romantic comedy sees him cast opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. But Bollywood Hungama has learnt that even before that film hits the screens, Luv has offered two more films to Ranbir. One of the two projects is the keenly looked forward biopic of the former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. The film has been in the news ever since it was announced in 2021. Ranbir also recently said that he is keen to don the role of the cricketer who is nicknamed Dada. Luv, however, won’t be directing the film, which is in the developmental stage right now. He will produce the project as he has the rights. The second film also sounds equally exciting. This yet-untitled movie will see Luv venturing into the action genre for the first. Interestingly, he was keen to cast Ajay Devgn with Ranbir in the film, but it got dropped because of date issues. Both actors were cast as brothers in the film. Tunisha Sharma death case: Sheezan Khan talks about Ali Baba co-star after stepping out of jail; says, “she would have fought for me”

On December 24, actress Tunisha Sharma died of suicide on the sets of SAB TV’s popular show Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. A day after Tunisha’s untimely demise, Tunisha's mother lodged an abetment to suicide complaint against Sheezan Khan, who was Tunisha’s co-star as well as her ex-boyfriend. She was, reportedly, depressed about her breakup with Sheezan. Thus on December 25, he was arrested and now after being in jail for nearly 70 days, Sheezan finally stepped out and spoke about the matter. In an interview with Times of India, Sheezan asserted, “Today, I understand the true meaning of freedom and I can feel it. I was in tears the moment I saw my mother and sisters and I am so happy to be back with them.” He further added, “Finally, I am with my family! It’s an overwhelming feeling. All I want to do for a few days is lie in my mother’s lap, eat food cooked by her, and spend time with my sisters and brother. When asked about Tunisha, with whom he broke up 15 days before she passed away, Khan said, “I miss her and if she was alive, she would have fought for me.” Meanwhile, Sheezan’s sister Falaq Naaz said, “We are happy that he is back. We will need some time to process this. Sheezan is finally out, and we are grateful to everyone who stood by us.” Giving the details of the next hearing, Sheezan’s lawyer stated, “It’s nice to see the family together after more than two months. Our case regarding the quashing of the FIR against Sheezan is scheduled to come up for hearing in the High Court on March 9.” For the unversed in her complaint, Tunisha’s mother also accused Sheezaz’s family and claimed that they were forcing the late actress to take up Islamic practices. Nawazuddin Siddiqui BREAKS his silence on allegations made by Aaliya Siddiqui; pens a long note clarifying his stand

For the past couple of months, Aaliya Siddiqui has been waging a battle against her alleged former in-laws as well as husband-actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Her accusations included assault and even charged him with rape as well as alleged that he has been a bad father to their children. While the Heropanti 2 actor has maintained silence in the matter, he recently decided to open up about on social media. Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to Instagram and shared a three page carousel post, explaining his side of the story. By captioning, “This is not an allegation but expressing my side of the story, the actor explained how he has been ‘termed as the bad guy’ and added that he remained silent because of his children. In the pointer format, the actor clarified on his stand. He started off with the status of their relationship and revealed about his children, saying. “First of all me and Aaliya do not stay together since several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids. Does anyone know, why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, wherein the school is sending me letters everyday that it's been too long an absence. My kids have been made hostage for past 45 days & are missing their schooling in Dubai. In the next page, he continued about her allegations adding, “She had abandoned the kids in Dubai for last 4 months before calling them here on pretext of demanding money. On an average, she is been paid approx 10 Lakhs per month for past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities. I have also financed her 3 films costing me crores of rupees, just to help her set up her income stream, since she is the mother of my kids. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. I have also bought a lavish sea facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my children. Aaliya was made the co- owner of the said apartment as my kids are small. I have given my children an apartment in Dubai, where she was also living comfortably. Amitabh Bachchan injured on the sets of Project K in Hyderabad; says, “Rib cartilage popped broke…”

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently got injured while shooting for his film Project K. The actor experienced a muscle tear in the right rib cage while shooting. He also revealed that all the work on the sets has been suspended and cancelled for the time being. Bachchan wrote on his blog, “In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured - rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, cancelled shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home. Strapping has been done and rest been advocated. Yes painful. On movement and breathing, will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur. Some medication is on also for pain.” He further added, “So all work that was to be done has been suspended and cancelled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs.” Amitabh continued, “I rest at Jalsa and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities, but yes in rest and generally lying around.” “It shall be difficult or let me say I shall be unable to meet, the well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening. So do not come and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming. All else is well,” Bachchan concluded. Project K is Nag Ashwin's sci-fi film starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani. The film is simultaneously being shot in Hindi and Telugu. On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai last year, which also starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra. That film was an emotional saga as it was based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a martyr of the 1999 Indo-Pak war. We have also come to know that Sid is now in the mood to do a light-hearted film together with his wife, after an emotionally heavy film. Just like Shershaah, this yet untitled film was pitched by Sidharth to Johar. Post-pandemic, cinema halls are finally witnessing audiences heading to the theatres. While the theatre experience is back, cinemas have been re-releasing movies on special occasions. On Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and late Dilip Kumar’s birthdays last year, cinemas re-released many of their iconic films for a limited time as fans flocked to the theatres to relive memories. Just this Valentine’s Day, movies like Jab We Met, Tamasha and many more movies were welcomed with open arms. It does seem like cinemas would like to continue this experience for fans and interestingly, this may increase the theatre going audience. With many films re-releasing, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar star Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he wants any of his films to be back on silver screen, with many wanting to re-watch Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. As Ranbir Kapoor is busy with promotions of his upcoming Holi release, the actor does feel cinema and content will always find its audience – if not during release then later on OTT. During a group interaction on Sunday, Bollywood Hungama asked Ranbir Kapoor if he wants any of his movies to be re-released on the silver screen and given a chance again for the audience to experience it, he says, “Cinema and content is such that it always somewhere finds its audience, if not, at the time of the release, maybe 10 years down the line. I remember, I mean I cannot compare that to my film but a film like say Guru Dutt’s film Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), which was a very big disaster when it was released, or Mera Naam Joker. But, today, Mera Naam Joker is the highest-selling film for RK Films. And you know, whenever it comes on television, or whenever people want the rights of RK Films, they speak about Mera Naam Joker. So films have their own destiny, and films will always find their audience.” Adding to that, Ranbir Kapoor picked Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year as the movie he would pick from his filmography that didn’t get much appreciation from the audience when it was released in theatres back in 2009. He says, “If I have to choose a film that didn’t work in my filmography, I would probably say Rocket Singh also. I don't think it's a very entertaining film. I also believe that if a film doesn't work when it releases and the audience is the key and they're never wrong, so there must be something wrong in the film at that moment, and it didn't work. But in hindsight, if you're sitting at home and if you watch Rocket Singh on OTT, maybe it's a great watch. Maybe if I had to make a film like Rocket Singh today, I should be intelligent enough and wise enough that ‘I should make this film for OTT and not for the cinemas.’ You don't waste people's time and money and release it on an OTT platform.” Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases in theatres on March 8, 2023.
