Not too long ago, family and loved ones of Raju Srivastava were seen heaving a sigh of relief as the comedian was said to be recovering. However, he started facing other health woes recently, on August 17. According to recent reports, the actor-comedian was diagnosed with a swelling in his brain and the doctors are currently waiting for it to subside, in order to understand further about his current condition.
His PA Garvit Narang gave a statement to IndiaToday.in wherein he revealed that the doctors found a swelling in the brain when they were giving injections to Raju Srivastava. Narang maintained that the doctors are hopeful that Raju's condition will improve, and his brain will start functioning again once the swelling subsides.
For the uninitiated, Raju Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest during a workout session on August 10. The actor-comedian was on the treadmill when he suddenly collapsed and was immediately taken to the hospital by his trainer. He was admitted at the AIIMS and was even given CPR twice to revive his heartbeat.
The actor-comedian since then has not gained consciousness. Although his friend Sunil Pal had taken to social media to assure his fans that Raju’s health is improving, soon reports started floating about his health condition worsening. However, a few days ago, Raju’s family went on to assure his fans that the actor is recovering well.
