It's been two decades since the first episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati aired for the first time and the world is a completely different place than it was in 2000. Amitabh Bachchan first hosted the iconic game show 21 years ago. As KBC completes 1000 episodes this week, Amitabh will welcome daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda to the show to play the game. The trio will be seen talking about their personal lives and their equations with each other.
In a recent promo of the episode, it is seen that Jaya Bachchan joins the trio over video call and will be making some interesting revelations. In the promo video, Jaya Bachchan complains that Amitabh Bachchan never picks up the phone. Defending himself, Amitabh said, "Internet agar gadbad hai hum kya kare bhai? (What can I do if the internet is not functioning properly?) To this, Shweta Bachchan points out, "Social media par picture daalenge, tweet karenge, (You will post a picture on social media and also tweet)."
Further Amitabh's granddaughter asks him, "Jab hum parlour se aate hai and aap nani se bolte hai, 'aap itni acchi lag rahi hai', woh jhooth bol rahe hai ya actually hum acche lag rahe hai.(When we return from the parlour and you compliment grandma on her looks, is it a lie or the truth?)". Amitabh quickly compliments Jaya saying, "Jaya, kitni acchi lag rahi hai aap” (Jaya, you look so good.). To this Jaya responds, “Jhoot bolte waqt aap bilkul acche nahi lagte (You do not look good when you lie)".
