Yesterday, it was shockingly revealed that the ace filmmaker Vikram Bhatt had secretly tied the knot to his long time girlfriend Shwetambari Soni. Their wedding was a private affair and was held during the 2020 lockdown with the presence of only their families.
Now, while talking to a tabloid Vikram had revealed that they got married in a private ceremony at his home with only her three sisters and his family in attendance. The director also revealed that they initially had planned for a grand wedding but the pandemic played a spoilsport.
The filmmaker has also revealed that the reason for him and his wife keeping their marriage secret. The couple started dating in 2016 and after 3 years decided to take their relationship ahead. While at the same time Vikram's father was also hospitalised and needed an angioplasty.
At that moment, Shwetambari felt that if something ever happens to either of them, it wouldn’t be possible for them to take the decision unless they have legal rights. Even after getting married, the couple kept their relationship a secret for more than a year as they wanted their kid's approval. Vikram has a daughter from his previous marriage while Shwetambari has two sons.
