EXCLUSIVE Sara Khan speaks in detail about her life during lockdown and her reactions to the controversial comments about her

Speaking of her life during the lockdown, Sara says, “I feel like the lockdown has worked differently for everyone. For instance, some of us got extremely unproductive and demotivated, while others got super productive and pursued their hobbies. I’m definitely from the second lot, and the lockdown has given me a lot of time to self-reflect. I’ve used all the time off the shoot in a productive manner and used it to my advantage.” We asked her about her schedule these days and she said, “I’ve ensured that I stick to a disciplined schedule all through the day. I invest a lot of time practicing singing, meditating, and catching up on my favorite web shows. I’m glad I’ve been able to release my songs like ‘Jadugariyaan’ and ‘Chadd Ke Na Jaa’ during the lockdown.”

The controversies around Sara Khan have been very traumatizing and this was her reaction to hearing those, “I was startled and then I thought let’s write to them. And that’s what any artist would do. They write to share their feelings. I think no actor should be subjected to a controversial projection of their image unless the actor would want it that way. I am a very sorted out and no-non-sense person. So, being talked about for anything except my work and music started to seem a little absurd, to be very honest.” Needless to say, her family had a reaction to them, too, to which she said, “My family is completely aware of the nature of the industry, and so their reactions are completely neutral. And that’s understandable.”

Well, we all like a boss lady, don’t we?
