Before kick-starting her promotions for her film, she has taken a break to enjoy her birthday with her friends. On the work front, Mouni Roy plays Rukmini Mehta in Made In China, wife of Gujarati businessman Raghu Mehta essayed by Rajkummar Rao. She also will be starring in Brahmastra alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt. She plays the antagonist in Ayan Mukerji's film.
