Sanjay Dutt’s illness shatters the Bhatts

There is no denying the fact that the Bhatt family, especially Mahesh Bhatt and his eldest daughter Pooja are very close to Sanjay Dutt for years now. When the news of Dutt’s illness reached the Bhatts, they were deeply affected.

“Bhatt Saab has been close to Sanjay Dutt for close to 30 years. They’ve done films like Sadak, Naam and Kubzaa together. Bhatt Saab was right there next to Dutt through his trial and incarceration for alleged terror activities. Bhatt Saab was shattered when he heard of Sanjay’s illness. The sad part is, because of the controversies currently around Bhatt Saab and his association with Rhea Chakraborty he is unable to hold Sanjay Dutt’s hands when he needs him the most,” says a source very close to the Bhatts.

Pooja Bhatt was unable to express herself on her Sadak co-star’s illness. “What do you want me to say? May I please be permitted to process this tragedy internally?” is all she’d say.

Ten days after his mother, Gaurav Chopra’s father passes away of COVID-19

Only recently, Gaurav Chopra had taken to his Instagram to announce that his mother passed away after a three-year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. The actor and his family were still mourning and the news of both his parents testing positive for Coronavirus broke out a few days prior to her death. Just 10 days after his mother passed away, Gaurav Chopra’s father lost his battle to COVID-19. Swatantra Chopra had tested positive while taking care of his wife in Delhi as she was admitted in the hospital for her cancer treatment.

Gaurav Chopra took to his Instagram to announce the tragic news of his father’s passing and said that it is a void that no amount of time will ever fill. He penned a heartfelt note for his father and called him his idol and hero. He wrote, “She left us on the 19th and he did on the 29 th.. 10 days ..and they're both gone.. A void , vacuum that no amount of time will ever fill...”

SuperM is back! After forming a group last year with SHINee's Taemin, EXO members Baekhyun & Kai, NCT 127's Taeyong and Mark, and WayV's Lucas and Ten, SuperM has made their first comeback with a brand new album titled 'Super One'. The group dropped their single '100' earlier in August. Followed by it, the septet unleashes themselves in the fierce 'Tiger Inside' music video that was released on September 1, 2020. 

The crisp choreography, the haunting synth sound, and tiger growls, the powerful visuals really bring the best out of the seven members. Dressed in customized hanboks made but traditional hanboks, the septet makes fierce moves with their style.

They try to send out the message to overcome the hardships that they face by unleashing in the inner animal. Composed by Moonshine and Alexander Magnus Karlsson, 'Tiger Inside' is the second single. They will unveil their first full-length album 'Super One' on September 25.

Sushant Singh Rajput death case: NCB registers criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has registered criminal against Rhea Chakraborty in drug conspiracy angle related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The NCB has named two men Farookh Batata and Bakul Chandalia who allegedly supply drugs in the film fraternity circle. They will likely be questioned.

On August 26, the NCB booked Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others and registered a case under Sections 20, 22, 27, and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.

On August 19, the Supreme Court gave a go-ahead to CBI to probe Sushant’s death. The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI), on August 6, registered an FIR against six people including Rhea Chakraborty, Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty, father Indrajit Chakraborty, mother Sandhya Chakraborty, house manager Samuel Miranda, and Shruti Modi. The charges leveled against the six of them are abetment to suicide, criminal conspiracy, theft, cheating, intimidation, wrongful restraint, or confinement, among others.

Currently, CBI has questioned Rhea Chakraborty four times already.

Actor Nitesh Pandey has entertained us with multiple roles in both the film and television industry. The actor is known to have played some iconic roles and is all set to return on television in a new avatar with Indiawaali Maa. He will be seen playing the role of Hasmukh on the show and has spoken in detail as to how his role is different from the previous ones and how the show highlights the importance of a mother.

1. Tell us about your upcoming show, Indiawaali Maa?

Indiawaali Maa is a show which depicts how a mother knows everything her child feels and she wants to be there with him through thick and thin. A very endearing story of Kaku’s journey to help her son Rohan reshape his dreams, will touch the viewers’ hearts and every single person with a mother/mother figure can relate to this show. Like rightly said in the promo, ever since you were a child, you turn towards your mother for all the things you found impossible at the time. Mothers are the superwomen with no cape, but they have a solution for everything. Even if Kaku can’t give Rohan a solution, she is determined do everything in her power to soothe him down and help him through a difficult storm. Though Rohan feels he can sail through every situation because he has grown up now, but the fact is “You’re never too old to need your mother”. Indiawaali Maa is an ode to motherhood.

2. Tell us about your character, Hasmukh?

A chilled-out father and a loving husband, Hasmukh has given his best to try to provide the best for his family. He’s a very practical person who keeps convincing his wife that his son might have forgotten his parents, but Kaku keeps calling him in disbelief that her son is distant. He is prudent and witty, yet romantic. Going for yoga with Kaku and giving all that she desires is what drives him. He couldn’t be a role model for his son, but did his best to provide for his education in US

3. How is this role different from anything that you have done before?

I have played various roles and I have also played father before, but none of them are as liberal and practical as Hasmukh. Hasmukh is very close to my heart because just from the promo you can see how he has given his son the freedom to make his own decisions and learn from his own mistakes in life. Fathers are usually supposed to be the strict ones and the disciplinarians in the family, but Hasmukh is a very contemporary and a forward-looking father.

4. Do you relate to Hasmukh in real life?

Hasmukh is a witty, strong headed yet a lovable character. He loves his wife Kaku dearly and he has done everything in his power to provide everything for his son Rohan. But the quality that we share is his practicality towards life. Realist by nature, he sees life as it is and tries to make the best of every situation.

5. How is your rapport with your co-stars?

Rapport with co-stars is fantastic, we had a great time and always appreciate each other work. Suchita is a very cooperative co-actor and we have a ball while shooting. We do have a funny relationship off camera too where we burst out into fits of random laughter after completing some scenes because I tend to crack a joke before the scene commences. It’s great to have a good rapport with your co-stars.

The show, Indiawali Maa airs on August 31.

Singer, actress, former VJ Sophie Choudry took up the ‘100 squat challenge’ initiated by fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala. Being a fitness enthusiast and a ‘Pilates Girl’, Sophie gave the challenge her little twist by doing the challenge 200 times instead of 100.

In a video posted on her social media, Sophie can be seen doing 10 squat variations in her bedroom on a yoga mat, wearing activewear. “Squat it like it’s hot ???????? To which, Yasmin Karachiwala replied, “Outstanding Soph, you've shown more variations, proud of you ????????”.

Durgavati Director G. Ashok teams up with Mansi Bagla; to purchase rights of three super hit South films for Bollywood remake

Director G.Ashok, who's currently busy with his feature film Durgavati starring Bhumi Pednekar has collaborated with Mansi Bagla and have purchased rights of three super hit South Indian films for Hindi Remakes. These films have already had a proven track record in the South markets and will now be remade into Hindi features.  Preparation has begun and these films will be on floor as soon as possible. This news comes as a pleasant surprise for the Industry as the ongoing pandemic has pushed the entertainment into a lull.

Mansi is simultaneously gearing up for her directorial debut with a Marathi film, which will be a remake of 2017 super hit Telugu romantic comedy- Ninnu Kori which will be produced by G. Ashok.

They are also working on developing a Horror- comedy story with writer director Raaj Shaandilyaa (Dream Girl). It was Mansi’s idea to bring Raj & G. Ashok together as one is the King of comedy and other is the King in the horror genre.

Sushant Singh Rajput never met Ankita Lokhande after their split

It is a little strange to see Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex Ankita Lokhande, with whom he split in 2016 never to look back, get so deeply involved in his life after his death. The truth is, she was no part of his life after they split in 2016. Once they moved apart, they moved away irreversibly to other directions, never to meet again.

Never to speak again. In fact I remember asking Sushant if he was in touch with Ankita since their split. His answer was a firm, “No not at all.” Now suddenly she is emphatically present in the thick of the tragedy. Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister’s WhatsApp chats with ex-manager Shruti Modi suggest that they were aware about his medical condition

New facts are being revealed almost every day with regards to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. On one hand, Sushant’s family refused to have any knowledge regarding his medical condition and said that they were not informed by Rhea Chakraborty about his health. However, a recently discovered WhatsApp chat between the late actor’s ex-manager, Shruti Modi, and his sister Nitu Singh suggests otherwise.

Nitu Singh, whom he lovingly addressed as Rani Di is seen asking Shruti about the prescriptions and a doctor that can come home. The chat reads that Shruti had sent across a medical prescription that had medicines like, Serta, Clonotril, Oleanz, and Qutipin. Along with the medicines’ names, Shruti had also sent across the contact of a certain Dr. Susan Walker Psychotherapy. These chats refute the claim of Sushant’s family being unaware of his mental health.

As of now, the CBI is investigating the case while the Narcotics department is looking through the drug angle in the case and the Enforcement Directorate looks at the financial aspect.

Mini Films is working on developing various stories and acquiring good scripts. They are also working on developing a Horror- comedy story with writer director Raaj Shaandilyaa (Dream Girl). It was Mansi’s idea to bring Raj & G. Ashok together as one is the King of comedy and other is the King in the horror genre.

Mansi, who has proved her mettle with her family venture of real estate, chose to make her big-ticket announcements on her birthday to herald in a new phase, despite all odds. Mansi who celebrates her birthday on 31st August feels she got the best birthday gift with blessings of MA Sharda and Vasudev.

Akshay Kumar and Bear Grylls go on a mad adventure in the trailer of Man vs Wild

The popular Discovery's adventure show Man Vs Wild, that featured Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year and superstar Rajinikanth this year, will feature Akshay Kumar in the upcoming episode. In January this year, Akshay filmed the episode with the show’s host Bear Grylls at Bandipur in Mysore.

Sharing the trailer of the episode, Akshay tweeted, “I visualized stiff challenges prior to #IntoTheWildWithBearGrylls but @bearGrylls completely surprised me with the elephant poop tea. What a day @DiscoveryIn @DiscoveryPlusIn.”

In the trailer, Akshay is seen doing some stunts in water whilst surrounded by crocodiles, drink elephant tea, do rope climbing amongst various mad adventure things.

Nobody is saying this aloud for the fear of being trolled savagely. But the truth is, a substantial number of people in the film industry are wondering how Sushant Singh Rajput’s family was not aware of his mental condition.

The family has repeatedly accused Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of administering the wrong medicines to him when in fact Sushant’s family was not only aware of his psychological struggles, they were also aware of the medicines that were being given to Sushant for his mental condition.

A Whatsapp chat between Sushant’s sister and Sushant’s manager reveals that a prescription of the medicines for Sushant for various serious mental illnesses was sent to the sister. If this is an authentic conversation, why is the family repeatedly saying that they had no knowledge of Sushant’s mental conflicts and that all his problems, psychological and financial surfaced only after Rhea came into Sushant’s life?

Why is the family so wary of taking responsibility for their only son’s struggle with paranoia and isolation in his final days? Rhea left Sushant when, apparently, she couldn’t handle his deteriorating mental health. Wasn’t it right for Sushant’s family to rush and salvage the situation in Sushant’s life?

While Sushant was in and out of hospitals, his father apparently sent a text to Rhea asking for an air ticket so he could visit his son.

Does this sound like a family where the scion is staring at self-destruction? Does this family even acknowledge that their son was in the need of serious care? Could it be that the narrative of a very popular very healthy very intelligent man who was honey trapped by a gold digger, not only makes great TRPs but also serves as great alibi for those who failed in their duty as family?

Actors Taapsee Pannu and Lakshmi Manchu have spoken out against the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty in the death case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Currently, CBI is investigating the untimely demise and the case has been filed against Rhea and her family. Recently, Rhea did a sit-down interview where she spoke about various allegations levelled against her.

After watching the interview, South actress Lakshmi Manchu said that she was pained by the media trial. “I thought a lot about if I should respond or not. I see so many people so silent because the media has made a monster out of a girl. I don’t know the truth and I want to know the truth and I hope the truth will come out in the most honest way. I have complete trust in the judiciary system and all the agencies that are involved in bringing justice to Sushant,” she wrote in a long note.

Responding to her note, Taapsee Pannu said, "I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake the judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity."

Karanvir Singh Bohra on his lockdown baby

After Kareena and Saif Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli it is TV stars Teejay Sidhu and Karanvir Vohra who have announced the impending arrival of a lockdown baby. Karanvir shyly admits that the lockdown was responsible for his wife’s pregnancy. “I think the lockdown was the biggest reason for the baby. There was nothing else to do except being with the family and working out. There was time together at home. It just happened.”

Karanvir knows it will be hard handling three children. “It’s going to be very stormy life hereon. But we are very excited. People are telling us we should be looking forward to a boy after two girls. But my wife and I are way too spiritual to look at a new life in our home through the gender lens. For us the baby to come is a child per se. Boy or girl, it doesn’t matter.”

The TV actor and now director feels the new child has a reason to come into his life. “My wife Teejay and I are very connected on this issue. We feel this new life wants to come to earth and it has chosen us as parents. So we welcome it, who are we to stop it?”

Karanvir, his wife Teejay and twin girls are looking forward Vienna and Raya Bella are looking forward to the new arrival. “We are very excited to have another life in our lives. When my wife and I had our twin girls our love was divided between the two girls. But now all of us will shower our love on this new soul in our lives.”

Himansh Kohli’s family tests positive for COVID-19, actor tests negative

Yaariyan actor Himansh Kohli has informed that his family has tested positive for coronavirus. However, the actor tested negative.

“Since the last 2-3 days, mom, dad and my sister, Disha were having symptoms of viral infection including mild fever. Recently, we all got ourselves tested for Novel Coronavirus – mom, dad and Disha have tested positive with mild Covid-19 infection,” he wrote on Instagram.

Himansh thanked the “government authorities for all the help and the advice. Hats off to all the people working hard to make sure we all are safe. I hope we come out of it and recover very soon.”

“I am taking care of myself and my family members. In the meanwhile, safeguard your family and ensure that they are taking all precautions. Even the slightest bit of carelessness can be harmful. But, please don’t be scared, a sane mind deals with all the problems better. Wishing all of you good health and lots of love,” Kohli wrote on Instagram.

BREAKING: Yash Raj Films to produce Tiger Shroff’s Rambo for Rohit Dhawan and Siddharth Anand?

Some days back, it was revealed that Rohit Dhawan has replaced Siddharth Anand as the director for the official Indian adaptation of the Hollywood cult franchise, Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo. The Hindi version will be led by Tiger Shroff, who is all charged up to step into his idol’s shoes. Bollywood Hungama has now exclusively learnt that the Rambo remake will be produced by the number one production house of India, Yash Raj Films.

“Siddharth Anand had the rights of Rambo for a while now and always had the plans of spinning a desi version with Tiger. However, the film kept getting delayed, first due to War and then due to his upcoming venture Pathan which is a battle royal between Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Sid has a deal with YRF and with not enough time in his hands to direct Rambo, he decided to partner with YRF to spin a franchise with Tiger Shroff,” a source told Bollywood Hungama. Sid has already signed a multi-film deal with the production house and the association on Rambo has just strengthened their bond further. “It will be a co-production of YRF and Sid, with the latter being involved in script and other creative aspects of the film too. The studio is in talks with Rohit to helm the franchise, however the young director is yet to sign on for the film.”

The source also shared that there is a lot of time before Rambo goes on the floors as Tiger will wrap up a two films including Heropanti 2 before moving on to Rambo. “The earliest it can go on the floors is by the end of 2021, as even Rohit has to finish his next family entertainer with Kartik Aaryan, which kicks off in February. Only after that will he move on to Rambo,” the source shared. Rambo is Sid and Tiger’s baby, which is the reason why both have partnered with the best in business, Yash Raj Films for the actioner. “After War, even YRF wanted to work with Tiger again, considering that he is one of the most bankable action stars in today’s time. Sid is tied up with too many things, and hence decided to pass on the baton to Rohit Dhawan, who is his friend. Next one year will be consumed in Pathan, following which he will move on to scripting War 2.”

Like the original, even Desi Rambo will be a multi-film franchise, with some unheard action scenes mounted on a huge scale. “It’s a massive franchise, no doubts. However, this one won’t be a part of YRF Project 50. The announcement will be made next year only once the director and script is locked. Right now it’s in the early stage of discussion.” In the other news, YRF Project 50 announcement is expected to be made on September 27.

Actor Ranvir Shorey has alleged that he was abused by the Bhatt family. The actor slammed a media house for stating that Pooja Bhatt was in an abusive relationship with him. He also stated that the old media reportage would confirm that he was the one who was targeted.

Reacting to the article, Ranvir Shorey wrote, "These kind of articles are the result of the sustained defamatory & malicious PR campaign that these film moguls have targeted me with for years! None of the media will bother to fact check old police and media records that will show that it was I who was abused by them!"

Pooja Bhatt and Ranvir Shorey dated for a while before getting engaged. Reportedly, Shorey was also friends with Manish Makhija whom Pooja married in 2003. Responding to a tweet that had photos of Pooja and Manish, Ranvir said, "This guy in the photos used to be my best friend right up until after the incident, and then turned around and married her. All kinds of relationships are manipulated and psychological warfare used."
